Looks fantastic team. If there's ever an upgrade version to this, people might appreciate the "dipping well" portion being a silicone insert to ease the cleaning process even more.

@SirSkudii86 exactly. I love all of it, it ticks all the right boxes , but a company producing speedpaint should have known better... If the silicone lacks stability, they could have produce a plastic 'frame' with holes, where the silicone inlet would have a perfectly snug fit...

Hi Army Painter team. I had the chance to review your Wargamers Edition Wet Palette and I really enjoyed it. I was sure that I wouldnt need a luxury wet palette, but this one really has a lot of comfort in all the right places. It really shows that you developed it from the hobbyists perspective. I love the sponge, the papers and these extra compartments inside the inlay. It feels clean and I feel organized, which is what I want in my hobby. Gifting one to a friend of mine who is starting into the hobby. Happy holidays

I have been using the small Army Painter wet palette for years. I stand by my opinion that it has up til now been THE BEST Army Painter product by far, and is why I always recommend AP hobby accessories. The AP sponges and paper work better than every other competitor company's, or the DIY versions of a wet palette. I absolutely cannot wait for this large palette by you guys!!

I have several wet palette and the original is still my favorite. Its not air tight like other which is a good thing to prevent mold and I added a dry palette tray in there so it's doing it all

Close to perfection 🥰 But what I would like to see was. - Silicone dipping wells. Should be doable when doing them in sections (one / two rows) - A dry pallet on the inside / backside of the lid. This could be a raised picture of the "Founding Fathers" 😉. Would I like to slap some paint on those two bad boys 😂 Ohhh.... and what about that mug???? 🤑

my wet palette I originally bought was your old one, but I was recently shopping for a larger one, hadn't pulled the trigger yet, but seeing this I think I'll just get this instead. Keep up the great work!

I have loved this palette! I've been using it for two months now, and I can honestly say it's a joy to use. The low walls, and large number of speed paint wells, brush holders, good but not complete seal, etc. It's fantastic! My only real complaint is the papers that come w/ it seem to be fairly fragile. If it am mixing a paint just a hair to aggressively the paper easily rips and covers my white sponge in the mixed color. I've used lots of different pre-cut papers and parchment paper, and haven't experienced this before! Regardless, it's still a joy to use. Thanks for making a great product.

The only way you could have made this better is to have made the dipping Wells put on silicone like fidget poppers to make it easier to clean. Can't wait to get me hands on it either way

I might have missed it, but do the wells for the speed paint allow us to save it up for later as well or do we have to use it all before it drys out? Cause maybe its my living room, but those speedpaints dry to fast for me to put more than 2 drops down at a time.

I was really interested in this. Just looked at the shop and I only see the original smaller size. I am in the US if that matters.

Palette Version 2 should have those inserts made out of silicone like in those fidget bubble poppers.

When we started development of this new palette, the Pop-It trend hadn't quite...well...popped up. We did look into it, however, but the soft silicon with the hard plastic made it very tricky to tool up. In addition, the pricing would have been too expensive for the target price we wanted to hit for our customers. We're always tinkering. If we can get the tooling, materials, and pricing right then who knows what the future may hold? ;)

Are those dipping well silicone, I use the like silicone pop toys you can buy there like packing with little air pockets.

Did you consider clamps instead of a band to hold it together?

How do you clean the brushes after use of Speed paint?

I just wanna know where I can get one of them nifty coffee mugs.

the well is pretty sweet. the old janky one i have sucks. i need something new

Honestly I think this looks too big for me. I might prefer the smaller.

pallet well insert should've been a firm-ish silicone to make cleaning easier, I just use a silicone fidget toy as my pallet well

Nice Video and cool product; since I already own the XL palette and like it very much an interesting question is: When will the advertised 'XL Hydro Pack' for refill be available?

The red band works, but have you guys considered magnets to keep it closed? or a silicone insert for the inside? that would make popping out the dry speed paints a lot faster.

@@TheArmyPainter Oh I was thinking more the thicker silicone like Turbodork uses, but yea the red strap gets misplaced a lot so some way to secure it using magnets might be nice too :)

If the speedpaints 2.0 dry way faster as reviews say, how can I avoid that while using the plastic tray? Is there a way to delay the drying?

I have one question. Why are the speed paints pallet wells are not made from silicone ? I use Pop-IT fidget toy as main pallet for speed paints.

In my experience the pop-its work better with regular acrylic paints anyway. The Speedpaints flake and crumble, so cleaning the residue is the pop-its isn't any easier.

@@Parakitor Idk, the pop its work brilliantly for me. The speedpaint dries and just peels off in a single disc and boom, the well is clean. I don't understand how yours is flaking and crumbling...

If it's not good to wring out the sponge, how do you recommend we remove excess water if we're trying to dry things out for non-level travel or general storage?

Put it in-between a towel and press the towel down on the sponge to press out as much water as possible 👍

I'm a bit disappointed that the lid( with the paint wells) on my new AP Xl wet palette malfunctioned so quickly (The lid isn't closing properly anymore, which affects the seal.)hopefully AP will make adjustments in their QC process...

I love your products, but I am wary of wet pallets that advertise multi-day use. Can we really expect paints to be usable after a day?

The Wet Palette can mess with the properties of the Speedpaints and they can also stain the hydro foam. We recommend using the insert that comes with this for them instead.

Seems pretty obvious to me. Speed paints are already thin paint, you really don't want to dilute that anymore.

I mean this in the Kindest way, You fuckers put this video out RIGHT AFTER i just decided to buy a XL everlasting RGG palette.. its almost double the cost (us) than this guy.. maaaan making me feel sad I didnt wait. May pick ine up anyways if i hear glowing reviews.

Please stop shipping the foams folded in half, it causes a killer crease that doesn’t come out well 😢 Also pls consider dry brush inserts for both sizes.. Great product otherwise! I love mine

We ship the foam folded in half for 2 reasons - it uses less packaging materials, so better for the environment, and having it folded on itself helps keep the foam slightly wet during shipping.

@@TheArmyPainter I appreciate that soo much but you ship the paper inserts unfolded, the packaging is basically the same size so I’m sure the cost difference is minimal, I’d rather have my insert unfolded, a little bit drier and maybe pay an extra dollar to aviod the crease that sometimes doesn’t come out!
