You should definitely run Melee Afflictions on this! The heavy lifts enemies, so it instantly applies 6 extra slash procs from the forced slash, and THEN expedites it all at once.

That arcane is so busted. I’ve been using it on the Dorrcleave and if you play around the combos, don’t blindly button mash it’s so fun. The guard + attack neutral is a kill switch. You hit something with a 500% knockdown attack after a few hits and they’re just dead.

Along side forced status proc's the number of swings per melee input is influenced by the stance as well. Just pressing melee with Gemini Cross for tonfas (kronen/boltace) gets you 4 swings dealing 200%, 200%, 50%, 50%.

I had a lot of fun doing this with blast electricity and melee influence. If you're ever able to get large clusters of enemies you can just completely evaporate them, and even the single-target damage is great because of the built-in expedite suffering. Additionally, building status duration can also do a ton for your burst damage since the scythe innately pops ALL of it with the heavy attack. What I like most about Harmony is that there aren't really any WRONG answers. It's a phenomenal base weapon with an amazing passive, good stances, and looks cool as heck.

Oh man I'm sure you'll LOVE the Cantare and its 300% crit chance on reload return

I still feel like that the disciplines merit is the best tennokai mod, due to simple reason that it ALWAYS triggers within 4 hits

The best thing about this weapon, is that you dont have to build up any status before the heavy. It instantly deals the full damage of the forces slash that all scythes have. Add some status damage from the elementalist mod, status duration and you almost triple the damage delt with those two mods. and i almost forgot, DE was kind enough to give scythes a knock down on the heavy as well, so pairing it will the new Arcane Affliction results in a ~1300% damage increase. So yeah... go for the heavy...

Harmony being one of the powerful melee weapon make sense because it the counterpart to Hate.

Fell in love with that melee without any mod since its heavies force-proc slash. The god-sent dev who thought about that mechanic !

Melee Elementalist, Melee Afflictions, and Blast instead of viral is how I’ve been running it. The blasts if they ragdoll surviving enemies should also trigger Afflictions. And the new Blast also counts as a DoT you can trigger with the ability now after the rework.

This weapon has alot of good variety when it comes to builds, interested to try it out eventually, thanks for the helpful video MC!

I personally went with a heavy attack build using melee elementalist and lasting sting because the forced slash on heavy is also cashed in by harmonic resonance on the same hit. So having a like 4 times increase in the damage that your slash procs do and then immediately cashing it in makes for some very funny damage numbers

Status Duration actually doubles your damage here, because the Expedite effect counts the damage of the status over its entire duration!

My test was to take Lavos into a mission with the weapon at level 0 and unmodded to see what it did. Instant killing a full group of Selkie Greenier with an unmodded weapon is absolutely busted. On one hand, I am super happy with the thing, but on the other, the power creep it brings is pretty unsurpassed.

Lasting sting, melee elementalist, your choice of dot, melee afflictions and then heavy attack mods are busted with this, added status duration with the buff the weapon gives you and the buffed damage for status. The heavy attack condenses the ticks from the proc into one beefy hit. Such a great weapon.

Lately I've been having stupid fun with Valkyr w/ Wrathful Advance subsumed and the Gram Prime. I really want to try with Harmony now. I have a thing where I always like to level the new stuff up as a set, though, so it's got to wait till I have Jade and all her goodies ranked up once.

I see several people run pure heavy builds on this. And I mean yesh that works but light attack Tennokai builds are just so much more fun and better. I'm glad that you agree.

To squeeze even more from this weapon, use the new arcane (Afflictions), Melee Elementalist and (optional) Empowered Blades aura. Each heavy will apply 7 forced slash procs, 6 from arcane and 1 from scythe, boost it with Elementalist and Empowered Blades and expedite all of that with its passive. No viral, roar or bane needed.

have you checked out the new Elementalist mods? they're insane (I have it on my Cycron and get 1m Heat procs constantly), the Cannonade mods are also pretty cool because you can use them to counteract the negative fire rate from the Corrupted crit mods if the base fire rate is good. (if you're not using Damage Arcanes)

You should give Lasting Sting a shot (or Lavos with high Duration). It makes your status stay for much longer, meaning they deal more damage over time, meaning that even with "weak" procs, you can oneshot basically everything. That includes, in my testing, lvl 205 SP Corrupted Heavy Gunner Eximus units. Also, the new Melee Arcane from the event is also terrific, as it can stack extra DoT with the spam attack or the block+spam attack combos.

Watching this one, waiting until the shoe drops that the Heavy force procs Slash status and that those procs also count to the passive function… so just building for up-front damage and Tennokai works amazingly… and then add in the new Melee arcane that adds six stacks of the Slash proc on top because the Heavy also lifts enemies… Enemietus Deletus.

For anyone who is using this scythe with its sister weapons, a tip is if you're going for the Jade's Ensemble buff, DO THE HARMONY FIRST. I don't know if it's just me, but through testing in multiple missions if you do the first two weapons buffs and then the Harmony, it won't work at all because the Harmony's buff just won't proc at all. It might be a bug, but if it is, I hope it helps and clears up confusion

I have 3 different builds for this each with different play styles lol. One is similar to your build. The other is a melee influence build. And the last leans into the status duration and heavy attack build. With each of them actually using different arcanes

This video missed out on the peak way to build harmony. With a single heavy attack and melee afflictions, you can apply 7 slash procs to an enemy and expedite suffering those slash procs into one massive armor ignoring damage roll. Mods that nobody uses such as the status duration mod is actually useful on this build because it doubles your one hit damage on heavy attack, plus melee elementalist is basically designed for this weapon with the 90% status damage and melee windup speed. Other than that, a normal heavy attack build makes this weapon do hundreds of millions of damage with ease on heavy attack

Weapon is cracked. Even without Tennokai or Arcane and running non-maxed Prime Pressure Point instead of Condition Overload it carries.

Excellent display. The Harmony scythe is indeed very fun in my own experience as well. Out of curiosity, would you be willing to revisit the Vectis Prime as part of this series, time be willing? I’ve recently been liking it more and more as a primary precision weapon.

This is probably really fun with a passive dot frame like ember or equinox or something like that too

this is actualy very similare to the first build i made for it, though i had carnis mandible (instead of bersker.) and drifting contact (instead of spring loaded blade.) tennokai i was thinking condition perfect, and arcane i was thinking the new melee affliction since the main button mash on reaping spiral lifts enemies. otherwise a great build, and great video.

I tried it with meele elementist and went pure status build skipped the crit even ran scorch in the last slot switching between viral magnetic and corrosive based on what I’m fighting so far kills everything in 2 seconds without faction mods it’s worth trying also something to consider is that going over 100% staus chance lets you land more than 1 status per hit it’s been working for me and also becuase meele afflictions is basically made for this weapon

Heya, two video suggestions: 1. Melee Afflictions Telos Boltace. First slide attack pulls enemies in, second one applies the status to all and more importantly, procs Afflictions, at least in my testings. Cooldown is a bit annoying tho. 2. I believe the Frost augment Biting Frost is currently bugged to be multiplicative on heavy attacks. At least that's the only way to explain why my Xoris explosions suddenly deals red! crits with a good amount of red!!s in there too. (Apparently it has been multiplicative on flat bonuses like Arcane Avenger for a good while now, so using that too bumps me up to red!! with some red!!!s. Not that it's necessary, since the enemies have no armour anyway.) Love your content, keep it up!

Pure heavy build isn’t practical unless you have a set up to just walk through enemies ( it’s warframe we do lol) but pure heavy hits for upwards of 500mil before outside buffs

Anyone else not getting any blueprints for Jade or the weapons after 20+ runs of the operation? No? Just me? Cool...

Something else to consider: Since Scythes have forced slash procs on heavy attacks you can run a heavy attack build on it. Slot in Sacrificial Pressure and Steel, Primed Smite, Amalgam Organ Shatter, Killing Blow, Corrupt Charge but the twist is that you slot in Melee Elementalist and Lasting Sting. Lasting Sting will boosts the total damage of the slash proc since it just adds extra ticks of damage rather than just stretch the ticks out. Normally this is pretty overlooked since we want things dead now. But since Harmony's HA is going to condense all of that down into a single hit, that extra damage is now putting in work. That build (w/o an Arcane) one taps even 225 Corrupted heavies and only with an Extinguished Dragon Key does it stop one shotting them getting them to within spitting distance of a Mercy Kill.

dont mod for element mods on hear exept the last slot wich should be faction, toxin or heat, go full crit heavy dmg with melee elementalist no killing blow, condition overload does nothing for you so go primed melee dmg instead for higher base dmg on bleeds without trying to stack CO with elements that are useless.

I can understand the argument for Conditional Overload but why wouldn't you want multiple dots on the target? Slash, viral, and heat sound good since all would be triggered instantly.

Harmony absolutely should be running Lasting Sting. It's a dirt-cheap trivially-acquired copper-rarity mod that more than DOUBLES ITS DAMAGE, no matter what other mods you are running, because it buffs the incredibly uncommon Status Duration, so when you Expedite the procs they are 110% stronger. Also Elementalist, also Afflictions, also you're just generally really bad at buildcraft in general. And please keep some damn plat on your account if you're going to keep using this format, it's embarrassing to see a partnered content creator dead broke 24/7.
