Yeah. Reb and the rest of the “new” crew have been absolutely knocking it out of the park every time. I’ve never seen a company be so transparent, accessible, and respectful of their community. And the storylines they’re willing to explore are increasingly bizarre and brilliant.

Blast is now GOOD. What a time to be alive. But I'm feeling old now.

I've noticed that the new Blast explosions actually cause self damage, not self stagger, self DAMAGE, which isn't something you want to find out when punching a Grinner in the face only for you to be the one who blows up

We just lost a defence run when the objective suddenly died out of nowhere. Could be the old bug resurfacing. Could be a blast thing.

The Exergis can be made to potentially apply the full 10 stacks in a single shot and the new status damage/mag capacity mod is basically a strict upgrade over the mag capacity mods the weapon would already often run.

tried this, my exergis have 10.4 multishot without the stacks of galvanized hell and primary frostbite(so it can still go up), and its funny. I shoot they explode and with a 3.2 punch through the one at the back also explodes hahaha

Been making use of the Zariman Incarnons with Blast Damage. The 50% x 20 damage has worked wonders in doing some absolutely goofy things explosion damage numbers. Base Felarx is extremely powerful with it, and the Incarnon Forms of the Phenmor and Laetum absolutely shred through anything you point them at. To put it simply, it’s been a blast.

Been running Lavos since this update dropped to try out the status and enemy health changes and it's been a boatload of fun. Everything feels great, and using blast to set off enemies like one of those strings of 100 firecrackers is super enjoyable.

Try KHek full multishot build pal. Infuse blast dmg via his valence augment, then see how blast just cycles explosions Hopefully won't crash the game (frame drops at worst)

loving all these buffs, the game is going back to its roots of being demi-gods as we should. this is what made warframe so fun is working towards that powerful through progress of grinding. it makes the grind rewarding

As a Lavos main it's incredibly satisfying to have all the status elements be more equally viable and alternating setup primers and always building upwards spectacular changes all around

I feel blast is now a status weapon counterpart to crits.

@@jyro1072 blast does 3x at 10 stacks so a weapon which can reliably proc blast rapidly can make up for lack of crit with status output. Crit weapons usually have lower status chance so they may not hit the 10 stacks as often. Ofc hybrid is king as per the usual

@@magic_cfw blast is just elec with a little more AoE, but greatly decreased damage. Blast deals 3 * modded base dmg * faction, but elec deals 6 ticks of .5 * modded base dmg * faction * *modded elec%* both look amazing with grouping, maybe a little armor stripping, but not nearly as impressive without grouping, and honestly garbage in single target weapons

The Strun incarnon feels really good now. I got mine modded for corrosive, radiation, and cold. It procs like 6 statuses at once in incarnon form now.

It always be that. The problem with strun before is it was too strong there. Now almost all mobs have better ehp so now we can " feel" its power. Confused? Yes, it look like use furis on star chart mobs! I feel abit about how strun before but now it is real when use on event sp map. Even shoot from really far it still give good result( which is not normal with all shotgun). And yes, its real power( from status) still not showing here, because lv 160 165 sp jade eximus is not strong enough! It is just its raw power( my strun has 400+ status)

I'm using Gas and Electricity, plus the Blast and Slash it already has, so the new Shotgun Elementalist mod quadruple dips so anything you point it at becomes a cloud of red mist

I've been messing around with a little bit of everything so I hadn't gotten deep into the blast changes. I did find it really fun on the Trumna with a Primed Shred installed. And I did mod my Atomos to be Corrosive/Blast, then forgot to use it. lol It's been a really solid update. Kinda weird, but weird is definitely on-brand on Warframe!

Blast is so good on the kuva seer it made me think the element itself was broken. I haven't tested it a ton but Corrosive + Blast in general seems to be a strong combination

As a melee enthusiast, Arca Triton and Jatt Kittag have been tons of fun with a Kullervo set up with his 4 augment to ramp up combo and then just heavy attacking. Numbers go brr

Blast & Corrosive together makes it look like you're stripping armor by spontaneous combustion & I love it lol xD

Status Zenistar Heavy Attack Disk + Blast also makes my game chug a bit. A lot worse with Lavos Valence Formation - dipping to 30-40fps.

Glaive Prime got a huge buff with the heavy wind up speed and status damage card they added.

Lavos with his augment for elemental weapon damage and Cedo with shotgun vendetta has been a riot. Put down an vial rush with blast and Cedo into a group and just watch the poor guys explode and become popsicles at the same time. Has been a great time.

Using the simulor with magnetic and blast plus whatever extra element needed for faction weakness has been a pleasant surprise for me. Simulor is actually looking a thing again

Akarius is going strong rn, as is pretty much anything with aoe and innate blast. Also tried my Vectis with blast/ corrosive... it's looking really promising! High single shot damage with good status, or aoe with innate blast seems to work best. Tbh though, i can't tell is it's blast that feels great, or the reduction of enemy ehp that's making the difference. Meta weapons are still gonna be meta weapons though... probably more so now.

What's your Akarius build? I'm not sure blast is doing much or it's just changes to enemies. Blast itself doesn't di much. I'm using corrosive with blast but it's, not doing much. Just similar to before, maybe I'm missing something

@prashsing44 just a typical crit/ corrosive/ heat setup. Primed pistol gambit Primed target cracker Primed fulmination Lethal torrent Galvanized diffusion Jolt Pistol pestilence Primed heated charge Cascadia flare The radial attack is blast innately, so removing heat may be a good idea, but I need to do more testing. Ialso don't have the status damage mod yet. Quite frankly, I do think it's more to do with the ehp changes more than anything. Maybe a combination of both. Blast feels pretty good either way, but so do the rest of the status'.

I've been running blast electric on my zenistar. It's been amazing at holding chokepoints when the electric arcane is active.

Blast elec probocis cernos is my jam

Just put blast on Jade and it's amazing. Glad to see DE revamping less used damage types to give all of them some different utility.

used the wolf slegde with influence and threw it with the forced blast procs ... gotta say wasnt expeting any of i have witnessed

Blast seems to work really well on the Mutalist Cernos. It's not the best weapon, but it has the potential to really shine with the right build. I imagine it'd work quite well when paired with Mag.

I built the sporithrix for blast and crit damage (since it already had a high base multiplier) then threw it on harrow with arcane avenger to actually make it crit (because it ain't going to crit on its own). I was hitting 3-40 million damage on headshots, and you know it erased everything nearby. If anyone is looking for a super satisfying steel path build, it's pretty rewarding.

I've had a lot of fun with Boar Incarnom (Blast Toxin Arcane bligth) MK1-Furis Incarnom (Blast Electricity Any Arcane and electricity 2nd evolve) Atomos Incarnom (Blast Any, Arcane Surge, lot of energy/armor frame (with arcane battery armor give energy)

But, Potato. Is the Sonicor back?

alas...as far as I can see Sonicor is not in the running. Problem being that Sonicor has ZERO% percent status chance. Which means that no matter how you mod it, you'll never get status to proc which is kinda vital.

My journey through the MR's i played alot of kulstar before i found out its not that great, new blast rework has brought back a love for the weapon.

lmao I forgot you made your operator into Ronald McDonald. And I also had a feeling Kompressa would be amazing with this update. Haven't been able to fully test mine as I've been too busy, but happy to see I wasn't wrong.

A full status paris prime incarnon absolutely shreds now. You just need to add a little but of crit rate, completely skip modding crit damage, and you just watch it clear rooms in 1-2 shots. I modded mine with blast corrosive radiation with 450% status chance

Incarnon Atomos is the new Meta with blast, I used it with Inarus ember shard for blast adding health and new secondary arcane that gives Overguard

Guess they need to make a blast themed warframe or maybe even a gas themed warframe

Single target feels amazing and not having to use armor strip feels good too. This update has fixed an issue that I had, which was that the game felt stale since bleed, viral, heat meta. Pablo cooked Also Ty potato I appreciate ur videos

The Cedo + Blast + Toxin goes hard

I've been prodding at a blast-toxin (and thus corrosive via Archon Continuity) Dex Pixia build for my green-sharded Titania; I'm still missing a second Xaku and Pistol Elementalist, but even just my current setup definitely seems to be giving her guns some nice AoE punch.

To anyone seeing this, the hotfix for Blast dealing self-damage has *_NOT_* been fixed at all.

Zhuge Prime feels and sounds very crunchy (in a good way) with Blast.

Just a note that Blast on Saryn will probably get a fix. Currently the Blast explosion applies Toxin with Toxic Lash, similar to Acid Shells. It makes me think they may have recycled Acid Shells' explosion code for this.

The new Blast mechanics are great, but I still dont feel like it fits thematically... Cold slows, Heat sets on fire, Toxin Poisons, Electric shocks, they all fit the theme of the type, but when something gets hit by an explosion it doesnt then explode as well after a delay. Purely thematically, I think they should've given Blast the Overguard damage amp effect, to have a "Shattering" sort of effect. Plus, it'd fit into a Cold + [Element] targets a specific Health type theme then as well; Viral (Cold + Toxin) is the Health Amp, Magnetic (Cold + Electric) is the Shield Amp, so Blast (Cold + Heat) is the Overguard Amp. (And before someone says about Corrosive and Armor, that isnt a health type, its a health modifier, you cant Amplify damage to armor cus you cant damage armor in the first place)

Sickening pulse could be fun on weapons that can't apply as many stacks.

Blast with melee influence is very nice.

Titania Blast + Toxin + Archon Continuity (wink - wink) on Dex Pixia with high fire rate: Lots of BOOM

zylok prime incarnon; crit blast slash it just decimates steel path qunta vandel with a rivin that givs 220% damage & 112% status, the cubes just nukes enemies and my trusty wrench kuva shildeg; maxamum slam, 119% crit with side of blast

Try the Corinth prime with both new D polarity mods. Corinth p is perfect because of the 100%+ status chance and huge AOE spread and DMG of the alt fire. It's just as powerful as the blast DMG the strun incarnon prime can do!!!

Twin Grakatas with Corrosive and Blast are bonkers. At full stacks on Gal - Chamber and Shot I can Bully Steel Path Void angels and it makes Me giddy. Also, Blast and Toxin with that new Elementalist Mod? A surprising amount of damage to armored enemies

Can you do further explanation on how blast works? Does the blast proc benefit from crits? Is it influenced by other element types? Does +damage mods work on it? Faction mods and viral procs?

I feel like it works best for High damage one (or few) shots with decent status. The already AoE weapons already have AoE. For those high status aeo weapons Gas might be the way to go, its really good now that DR is capped and it's no longer being resisted

before i was using CEDO mirage, now im using CEDO mirage, CEDO has innate blast on the explosion and with mirage and modded multishot you apply it alot and it boosted the damage significantly + since it is a shotgun im running it with prime elements so gas + magnetic, magnetic is now also buffed aganist eximuses and provides strong electric procs so another buff, the lowering of armor means that just applying heat is now also significantly more powerfull than before, and with the new ice storm arcane i can now sustain +40% strenght and duration buffs by freezing enemies with cold procs thanks to Shivering Contagion

Zephyr can prime are 4 with a element from your weapon that means we can get Explonatos
