I admit that although this video is over 6 years old, I can personally attest to why the people featured in this video express multiple positives about the Ward's Corner area. My husband and I enjoy living in the area and fortunately have been doing so since September 2020 of last year, I had some previous familiarity with the area because I had previously lived here part of 2008 when I was in the navy. Originally when I returned to relocating to the Norfolk Virginia area last year in September I had initially planned on living in Virginia Beach to be closer to where I was working at the time. However within a week after moving to Virginia my husband and I found ourselves signing and processing paperwork to move into a place in the Wards Corner neighborhood even when I initially thought I was going to work in Virginia Beach long term, unexpectedly less than 14 weeks later my husband was fortunately in a strong position to permanently follow me to Wards Corner and fortunately we are both now living and working in Norfolk and are now more permanently settled into Wards Corner and we are both glad to have taken a chance on choosing this area to live because the areas that we both work that are a reasonable close distance to Wards Corner are rich with abundant economic/financial opportunity.
