I think what makes Wardruna epic among others is that they interpret traditional and natural aspects in a perfect harmony in terms of both lyrics and instruments which is accompanied with great and powerful vocalists. I love you Einar Selvik!

I actually prefer this now, music in other languages so then it lets you completely focus and concentrate on the voice and the emotions and how that blends with the instruments. I prefer the voice as an instrument and not speaking the tongue of the lyrics makes that more possible.

Wardruna and Kalandra will tour together at the 'Nodic Night Open Air' tour this summer in parts of Europe (Dates on both band's homepages). Wardruna is one of those bands that proves that the language of music is universal. You may not speak the native tongue but the music itself has a way to speak for itself and help you feel emotions that you may not have felt and unlock a primal part of your ancestry.

One of the most beautiful and enchanting songs Wardruna does. Saw them perform at Red Rocks and between them performing and the moon appearing from the clouds it brought tears to my eyes. One of the most memorable experiences of my life so far. ✨️

Everytime i try to sing their songs im just amazed by Einars insane breath control. Im already out of breath halfway and he just keeps going, many times even singing a long powerful note at the end

I've loved this song for a while now. The other day I was home alone and played this through my head phones, I started singing along and I was overcome with such intense emotion, neither positive nor negative but my singing became louder and guttural. I was crying. If someone watched they'd have probably thought I was insane. But afterwards I felt so cleansed from core. It was involuntary and was something I hadn't experienced before. I completely let go.

I had tears in my eyes listening to this. I felt something so real that i can't put words to. One of the strangest things was my cats were staring right at me right in my eyes. I thought at first they were curious about the music but they were only looking at me. I thought of Freyja. Did She see me through their eyes? I've felt so alone for so long. I don't know why i'm even sharing this.

I just purchased two tickets to see them live in Mesa, Arizona 2022. I'm so excited as I can somehow understand what they are saying in my spirit. It's hard to explain, other than I am in touch with my ancestors from Scandinavia. Mindblowingly amazing. Deep. Very deep.

Might sound weird or farfetched but mushrooms introduced me to this music. The frequencies touched upon are so high and overwhelming in a good way. Have transformed... so much healing done in ceremonial respect.

This came at just the right time. Wish it was longer...but thankfully Wardruna is the type of music you can listen to over and over. Another masterpiece.

Just saw them live in France and litteraly cried during this whole song. Most of the audience, fans or not, had blurry eyes with tears as well. Also the playing with lights and shadows on stage is just incredible.

I saw Wardruna live at Dinkelsbühl in Germany and was in the first line and high on some drug and screamed EINAAR and we looked right into each others eyes for some moments ... very epic moment. I felt a lot of respect for this man for there was no arrogance in his look

I really enjoy how you give the historical and narrative explanation in the beginning. Makes it that more intriguing and meaningful. I've seen Einar do this at live settings and I really appreciate that it is being put into videos as well. On the song itself, I really liked it, the chanting like folk song aspect of it. That is, until the end where Einar sings louder. Then I got goosebumps and now I don't like the song, I love it!

Absolutely agreed. Humanity is so lost, it really is deeply lost on so many levels. I believe a great cleansing is under way, how long it will take to reach severe levels is anyones guess , but it has begun ,and it will touch us all.
