The problem is that fishing without a license is a bad deal, so the state pays for fish to be stocked. it costs money. It don't cast much to get a fishing license n specially in the place like Montana, there is so many places where ppl can go fish n be on the water. However, the guys r Wright the law enforcement is always about money. I've always gotten my fishing n small game license even though I haven't hunt yet, just to support the fishing n small game n bird community. Good luck to everyone. God bless us all.

It’s a big deal. Fishing license fees directly go to restocking lakes and rivers with fish. Without that money the fish don’t get stocked and there’s no more fish to catch

During our boat operator course for USFWS, we get thrown in the water with our waders on and have to swim back to shore. It isn't really that hard unless you're a poor swimmer.

Well, they sure taught that 12yr old boy a life lesson. It's ok to drive a boat at night without a license and drunk. Now he knows dad isn't a drunk and didn't break any alcohol laws on the water. But by god if you don't have a fishing license, your almost a criminal.

If you dont have your i.d. your going to jail btw!.. wuh ok u guys gotta take it easy over there.. imagine telling your cell mate you got arrested for having no i.d. lol the whole jail would laugh forsuree

LOL Guy has a dog and is solo rafting looking at people like bruh. I met a game warden here in Canada on my fishing kayak returning to shore. I showed him my license, told him it was a good day fishing, just catch and release, and he's like what are you missing? The kayak is an unsinkable floating device so I thought I had a life preserver. Didn't know I needed a tow rope seeing as its a paddle kayak... Missing whistle. So all in all I answered with oh I'm sorry im also a professional swimmer I thought this was toy almost. He liked my answers. I was honest 100% and he said you know how much the fine is.... 250 dollars... Go buy these things and yeah. So I spent 150 bucks on the nicest life jacket I could find, tow rope/ flash light/ better whistle. The man was doing his job, he made my day. I made his. Now im getting my pleasure craft license. So know the rules before you go out in your zones. Don't think your aqua man, it wont save your bank. Your license pays for fisheries to stay functioning and wages + other things.

As someone that has been on some dangerous water for 25 years, it amazes me that there are so many people out there in rafts without jackets, helmets and don’t have their gear and coolers secured. What is the matter with people?? Death wish?

You MUST have your fishing license ON YOUR PERSON when fishing - or you're comsidered UNLICENSED!

I don't understand the it's ok to be drinking while boating causing rescues but heaven for bid you don't have a fishing license.
