There's a lot of great engine audio in this one as rows of P-40s and P-51s, plus a rare pair of P-47s, start up, taxi by, and launch from Nampa. Idaho during the annual Warbird Roundup on Sunday, 25 August 2019. The all-silver Mustang with slim landing gear doors and tall tail is the only flying P-51H. And watch for the olive drab P-51A, an early Mustang rarity from the Planes of Fame Air Museum collection. An all-yellow N3N-3 biplane joins a Stearman PT-13 in the overhead fly-by. Warbird Roundup is hosted by Warhawk Air Museum of Nampa. The museum, with its interesting aviation collection and friendly atmosphere, is a favorite in the greater Boise area. Hey, at 1:45 in the video, that's me in the back seat of the P40-N Warhawk "Parrot Head"! That was an awesome ride doing the Missing Man flight with Sneak Attack (P40-E Kittyhawk), Dottie Mae (P47-D), and the P47-G!

Outstanding! Looks like the winds were calmer that day than on arrival day, which I'm sure the pilots appreciated.
Thanks for a very inspiring video experience. Can't get enough of the greatest generation warbirds. So few of these magnificent airplane are still in flying shape so love an gratitude to the men who build 'em, fly 'em and maintain 'em. Keep these planes in the air, guys.
