To this day I don't know why the gajin decided to put 16, man it was much better before with 8, there are games where you take down and take down enemies and there's even more

@@Gyyghhhhjjjkk It was always a clusterfuck once we had late Gen 3+ jets. People look at it with rose tinted glasses because they think back to the late night games they had where it was still sabers v sabers and there were only 8 people per team, when that hasn’t been top tier for nearly a decade.

Flying high, to me, is what made top tier fun. I hate hugging the ground. However, I understand perfectly how it should NOT be done if you don't know how to defend from radar-guided shit...

same here, I was so sick of flying low every single game usually just getting killed by IRCCM missiles anyway. As a DCS player who does lots of BVR I find it much more fun than flying low.

5:05 can you make a guide on this topic for each top tier missile? As a 9M user, I was often disappointed on how often it misses or loses track, watching replays with new sensor view helped a bit to realize that it can't really turn very well. It says 30G on stat card but it often pulls around 16-24G's and when you launch at a turning target and he keeps turning then it's a guaranteed miss.

As a gripen player i feel like its the only plane that actually benefits from 16v16 since you can zoom around inside the furball and you have soo many flares and chaff so you can absolutely dominate inside a furball

You can overshoot. Just dont try to swing back. Do just keep going, they cannot chase you if you a overshooting by a lot. If they do try to chase just get some elevation which will keep them slow and slow = easy missile kill

so i just got mig 21 S, and i clearly dont know how to play with it because most games at start was 0 score and i died many time 1st, but now i wait till match at half point so i can play more carefully because not gonna be 10 missile vs me

I feel like all this is stuff people should already be naturally learning when they go down the tech tree without taking shortcuts or premium

I been learning BVR and finally have it figured out, it’s a blast to go up, get an ER kill then dive for the deck 😂

@@christopherchartier3017it’s fun to smoke these guys with Phoenix missiles because they’ll cruise straight in at 15k plus feet and my missile has been airborne since you took off lol.

@@zachn5529 Yeah but if they’re sub 10,000 feet, long range Phoenix shots aren’t that effective. Gaijin still needs to implement something to let us know when the missile goes active though

@@christopherchartier3017 pretty sure it depends on the rwr you have. I get a missile notification when I’m in the f-16c and where it shows the type of radar it will say missile instead of M29 or F18 or whatever.

This will assist my grind with F4J (UK) lol Edit: Console kinda sucks….

The only thing you have to do is don’t fly Center, fly low, sude aspect irccm launch, pray that you won’t get third party. All these tips will only increase your chance of survival to about 40% because there’s no way to fully survive.

Shit happens, fired an r73 once, enemy flared it, it then locked onto my teammate after it changed directions past the flares,

So About that "use terrain" I love this story; So I was the last guy, all my teammates were bombing idk why. They all died really quickly. It was me vs 7, in southeastern city map, and I dogfighted like all of them but one who was in I think a f4s shooting ai planes I somehow killed 4 with guns, one killed himself, another shot his ally, and the f4s shooting ai I shot with aim 7m. They were trash I was f16c they were f16ds, mig29s, other f16cs, idk what they were doing I just know I ran out of countermeasures and started using them as countermeasures and it killed one My point is the terrain is awesome. Use it to your advantage as much as humanely possible
