My Mk. IX thinks different. I like to fly above 5-6 km. With that climb rate and that altitude performance of the amazing merlin 61 it become easy.

I found the new way to kill adam . When you are low and he is in your 6 you dive to the ground , he kills you then his screen freezes then you hope for him to crash. Nice vid as always.

@@AdamTheEnginerd I also get this when someone does "Attention to the map!" or "Cover me!" or sometimes when I get too close to another plane (possibly camo loading in). I checked gpu usage during those freezes and it drops to zero. I get that the camo loads in over the network but the radio messages?

Incredible to see you flying one of my most beloved planes. In 2016 I was really into grinding the Germans, and this and the Ta152 C-3 were my go to grind planes. I still love it nowadays, the airspawn makes it OP af.

I know it's a year late but finding your videos has made me a better pilot and helped me figure out how to fly planes that were a struggle for me to succeed in before. The Ta-152 is just one of those planes; before, Spitfires were preying on me, now, they are my prey. In all seriousness, thank you. Despite the BR raise and insane repair bill, I love flying this plane now.

Nice vid as always. Do you think I should be dogfighting F4U-4B's? I tried it because of the MER but the F4U's tendency to bleed more energy just allowed him to stay on my six and then his huge flaps and engine allowed him to stall after me.

Thanks! If he's behind you you'll have trouble making him overshoot due to your MER. In a neutral merge, yeah you can dogfight it.

You're mostly using the K4's climb in that situation.

Quick question, how does your average RB match usually look like? It's obvious that the stuff you post on KZread is cherrypicked, but I'd love to know how you usually get on. Because that match, for example, would be a once-in-a-lifetime match for me. Also, do you put a lot of thought into your maneuvers and moves or do you mostly stick to your instincts?

I average over 2 kills per game, so it's a few kills per game. Indeed I show the interesting stuff/carries, but that's not necessarily always high kill games. I had a 8 kill I185 match, but it was just me killing everyone at low altitude and it was boring af so I deleted the footage. It's both. On unfamiliar planes I think more.

Great video, as always. Did you see stats card in-game that says if you remove the cover mod its turn radius improves? Is it true?

JG 301 operated about 20 152H-1s in the last ten or so weeks of the war, providing top cover for the Me 262 airbases still hopelessly trying to defend the Reich. Not much was achieved, because low altitude patrol was not really what the H was built for. The C model, which would have worked much better in that role, was coming off the assembly lines when Hitler ate a bullet.

screen freezing happens a lot when you get damage on: Wyvern, Narval and I've heard A2Ds. it is especially annoying when it is just a critical hit or when you are really close to the ground

@@florianbielawa2919 The Fw 109 A5 U2 is the best one you can get. It is awful to spade but if spaded it is awesome. If you want a 190 without shitty stock grind, either take some GE and spade your favourite or buy the D13 bundle. D13 is so fun to fly

When you master the Fw190A you can master every plane. I would say if you plan your maneuvers really good you can fight allone against an enemy fighter and the roll is good so you can make aiming very difficult especially for the fighters with wing mounted guns. The very first As are quite good after all. I played the 190A5 and A8s that much that I just can play 190As, Ta 152C and heavy fighters of the Germans, planes like the Ta 152H and 109 feel very unnatural for me and I tend to play too risky in them.

Now play the Ta152 C3, full commit headons only :P

Seems the German cannons are unusually reliable and effective currently. Back when I still played the game, you needed to empty half your ammo load into a single enemy fighter to get a kill and from what I have heard, that hadn't changed for quite some time after my departure. It has always been the case that every 3rd patch or so, the German cannons suddenly got good and then they got nerfed again 3 or 4 days later.

Hello! Very good work! Thanks! I have some questions for you: Has the FM changed since this review? At what speeds or at what times do you recommend using the different flap settings? Does this review apply to SB? Have you considered playing in SB? It's a one way road ... Greetings from Apolok

Yeah the FM got nerfed, turns a bit worse, flaps are less effective and actually rip now. I recommend using combat flaps in a dogfight. Yup I'll be trying out SB this summer!

Regarding your freezes on Kills, if you have a Nvidia Graphics Card try turning off the Highlight system, saving those clips might cause freezes sometimes.

HI Adam! i came back after a 5 month break from WT and saw on the "top speed spreadsheet" that the La-9 has 640 km/h as sea level top speed and it used to be about the same as the La-7's, was it buffed? Also 3:11 HFOHH

Yup La9 was buffed in performance, with maybe a few handing changes too.

Something I would like is for Gaijin to add more ammunition to Ta152H it has great armament on it, however great video dude!

Thanks! Yeah it's gotten a lot worse for me since the update.

Adam, did you practice shooting without zoom? Whenever I prepare to shoot, I always zoom-in first. I know how effective shooting w/o zoom is. But it is pretty hard for me. Should I practice it to be a better player?

I just never got into zooming, since it doesn't inherently increase gun accuracy. I don't recommend zooming if you can help it.

Hey Adam what does MER mean? Also I only barely survived a short encounter with you in your Mig 19 in my Mig 15 a couple days ago lol.

Maneuvering Energy Retention. Essentially it's a measure of how much energy (speed) an aircraft loses when maneuvering. Different aircraft will lose speed at different rates depending on their power, weight, wing, geometry, etc. I did some tests and made a video explaining it if you're interested: kzread.info/dash/bejne/qYB1msWsoLvIkqg.html The one where I kept turning with you?

2:17 Suffering freezing when u kill someone? That’s also been happening to me on most occasions It annoys me because I don’t get to move outta the way of the dead enemies’ desolate husk in time

Yup same.

God your aim is so good. Sometimes I struggle with 30mm cannons, they are so slow. Still the plane is no OP, but Gaijin still raised the repair cost. I like the plane but that repair cost keeps me away, especially when I am low on SL.

It has been nerfed though, I think it's fine at 6.0 as is.
