F-4S is an F-4J with the Agile Eagle package that you can see installed on the F-4C. It means the S turns better than the J meaning you're less of a helpless brick

@@h4zmatgaming395 That would be a waste of a slot in the tech tree period as it basically offers nothing other than being just a slightly better F-4J in its current state. I’d rather see an F-14B with AIM-9Ls in 12.0 in that case.

F4s has helmet mounted seeker like the mig 29, but the difference is it can also helmet mount lock someone with radar as well

Mig-29 does it as well, useful for 27-ER shots when the gap opens in a dogfight

I feel like the f-4s would be a good buy bc of how it can bomb bases for rp fast and it gets aim7f’s. But for me i have the f-14 and everything else except the attacker line and f-5e so i feel i could use it well but for a lvl 5 maybe not

​@@semicooperative7188 oh man, how you are wrong) I own f4s, take 16*250 lbs bombs, 4+4 rockets + gun pod. 90% matches you can easy drop bombs and I have no problems fighting aircrafts, just don't actually dogfight people and use aim-7f from 2.5-20 km and 9h on lucky shots up to 4 km from behind(with equal speed). It is way better than mig23ml because 1 base = 1.5 kills +- and you can 1 base+1 kill pretty every time, especially if you enter a match when you will met new players on high tier jets which is basically free kill. Can you make 2.5 kills every game reliably? I think not, it is random enough, 1 base + 1 kill is consistent as hell and if you are lucky and skilled enough you can make 5-6 kills + base or even 2 bases if match is prolonged.

cannot recommend the av8a enough. i grinded the whole damn tech tree from basically zero in 600 games. super duper efficient. due to power to weight, you will drop your bombs 100% of the time, and your speed getting into battle allows you to easily flank enemies, drop 2 missiles, and rtb. rinse and repeat as many times as possible, always making sure to drag out your matches to increase your rp totals. this should result, after you get the hang of it, in 20-40k rp PER GAME. its actually ridiculous how efficient this thing is. it blew me away how fast i was able to rip though that tree.

F-4S is literally broken af right now, it's so good. Such a fast grinder, 2-3 kills a match with ease plus bombing. It's so damn good. Good video touching on the topic!

I do agree with what you are saying. These things will help new players help them get to top their jets.

@@chynas8250 If they buff the F-4S it needs to be AIM-9Ls as the first thing honestly. It really doesn’t serve any other purpose besides a Strike Aircraft or Support Fighter. The AIM-9Ls would give better performance in all aspect. Also a slightly higher Thrust/Weight would help it with getting higher energy states to sling those AIM-9s and AIM-7s without being too op, and then a slight BR change to 11.7 which should accommodate the buffs.

F4S are really deadly if you know how to use radar lock properly. You can get at least 3 kills + bombing 1 base.

The F4S is definitely the way to go if you’re starting from nothing and want to be able to bomb bases and support. The amount of bombs it can carry plus the Air to air missiles make it so easy to grind. I’m already rank 5 and started the game last week with the premium. Comes with talisman, 2500 gold eagles and 20 days of premium. Can’t beat that

DEFINITELY is. I started doing that with my F-5C and I get damn near over 8000 per match, sometimes I get even 20000 RP a match. It’s really fast and I can cover a whole tier easily.

I once got 35k rp for 5 bases and 3 kills. But bombing isnt very fun f5e is much better for grinding

F-4s just takes some time to get to know it. I’ve grinded out almost 1 mil rp with it in like 3 weeks

the A10 in rb with only missiles is kinda op, I used to bomb and die before I get a point but this is way better

The first time I got F-4S from my fri, I thought it not that good despite in a top tier match but after I learn how to use it, it’s kinda deadly. I load with 5 sparrow and 2 Aim9H XD

I already have the F14 and I'm I think 3 planes away from the F16. Don't specifically remember the names. Now, I kinda want the F5S since yes it's a very good plane and a premium but again I already have the F14 lol. Maybe I'll get it when it's half off, I can wait.

F-4S* not F-5S lol. Also since you already have the F-14A and are grinding for the F-16A I wouldn’t even bother. It’s ultimately going to find the same use as the F-4J.

1. we dont have exp in game. 2. if you play things like the F-5 you can average higher income of RP 3. the A-10 will be clapped by any player with more then 3 brain cells

I just recently got it and its super fun to play.

F4e would be a better choice for a talisman compared to the f4c it gets agile eagle and flares and in the f4c your just going to die 30g missiles at least in the f4e you have flares and better flight performance and air to air missiles

The Fact that they moved the F14 to Rank 8 so you have to grind out the whole attacker line now in order to unlock Rank 8 was just such a fcked up move from Gajin

Talismaned F14 made it a breeze

Don't make the RP +1/-1 Rank mistake I did. I almost solely played props around rank 4.0-6.0, skipped a lot of ground fighters and bombers and played 30 days in game. At the time I didn't care either until I noticed the f-16 and F-14

F4S was good before the radar uptade, now he just isnt that good at taking down enemies at least in top tier, if youre up with f5c or against you can do pretty much. Note that if you play against mig29 youll see that most of the times you wont be able to lock them, dont know why. overall good plane to bomb and help, but surely you wont help that much nowadays because of the radar nerf

For tech tree and squadron vehicles, yes. Premium vehicles research all ranks below them efficienctly which is one of their main advantages

Question: if i buy a talisman for F14, does the F14 earn 10k RP per much when i get a good score? If so, i dont need to buy F4S

Obviously, RP heavily depends on performance, but you will earn noticeably more with a talisman. A Talisman vehicle has the same RP earn rate as a premium (more or less, every vehicle has slightly different earn rates) it just doesn't get the extra silver earn rate or research more than 1 rank below it effeciently.

I like War Thunder but. I haven`t played in awhile because of the standard controls suck and make the game unplayable. Took me 3 to 4 hrs to get them about right. Then some how the controls got messed up. Then another 2 hrs to fix to play that day. Didn`t play for a few days and controls messed up again. Stopped playing for 6 months.

Usually one in the middle and end of the year for pack vehicles. For GE vehicles, they pop up a little more often

CAS A10 is the correct way to use it and also the fastest way to grind is get in the sim mod and fuck those red rings just stay away from airfields unless you have and know how to use CCRP

@@suzybean13 it doesn't really change how it functions in game tho. It technically turns better, but still isn't competitive in a dogfight with most opponents. If top tier moves up a good bit, agile eagle may eventually make a big difference, but for the time being, it's just a nice extra.

It does work well in most of the maps, it just requires a good knowledge of Aim9ls, etc.

Well any time I use my F5C, I go against F4S phantom 2s. And when I use the phantom 2, I go against F16s 🤦🏼‍♂️

No?? No offense but you are probably around level 5 to 25. If you want to play the F-5 efficiently play it as a turn fighter, that’s what it is. Just don’t try to turn with everything, the J35’s and from my own experience the MiG-21SMT and MiG-21MF both turn better at lower speeds. Also don’t try to turn fight at at low speeds unless you have no choice, the sweet spot for turning is 650km/h to 900km/h. You can boom and zoom if you want just watch you RWR for and radar locks and get ready to use flare/chaff. If you are in a full uptier I don’t recommend gaining altitude because 11.0/11.3 that have radar guided missiles will most likely kill you. The gums on F-5 are a little weird to get used to so just practice a little using air target rounds. and bombing in the F-5 could also be good if you still aren’t that good at fighting. I think the best load out for bombing is the 2000lb bomb in the middle pylon and 2 BLU/1 fire bombs on the left and right pylons.

@@boltzxz no I'm not that low level And you it's quite ok on its br but my most common enemy is the mig23ml and the mig21 SMT which I don't have a chance against I also get fucked by tornados but you can defeat them as their pilots are brain-dead All in all I usually get a base and a kill and as soon as someone approaches me I get missiled from 12km
