IJN 'Campaign' with TTE and OM Mods.
You're wondering why there is no land, or any planes, or why it looks like a Custom Battle. That's because it it! You see, my IJN Campaign had a stroke and died, but I happened to be able to write down exactly which ships were on both sides. So I bring you this: A Clusterfuck of a surface battle which proves several things.
-a. The Mighty One is not so Mighty, especially when you have a determined enemy at somewhat close range
-b. The Americans will do literally EVERYTHING to kill you. (You'll see what I mean if you watch the video)
-c. Just because they're called 'Heavy Cruisers', doesn't mean that they have more armor the Light Cruisers
-d. God Damn am I happy the Campaign did have a stroke, because if the battle played out like it did here...I would not be enjoying my time
-e. It's better to just dive bomb the enemy to hell, or torpedo the shit out of them rather than forcing a surface engagement
I hope you enjoy!

Loved the video @Zuikaku Zk9! Can't wait for the next video! Zuikaku is best girl of Sakura Empire, for she is the Sweet Little Chestnut Brown Haired Patch of the Heavens with Hazel Brown Eyes. A few interesting video ideas just came into my head while watching this. 1.) The Battle of Empress Augusta Bay, November 1/2, 1943. The First Four Ships of the Cleveland-class Light Cruisers along with the 8 Fletcher-class Destroyers of Destroyer Squadron 21(?) (Charles Ausburne DD-570, Dyson DD-572, Stanly DD-478, Claxton DD-571, Spence DD-512, Thatcher DD-514, Converse DD-509, and Foote DD-511) engage in a Night Action against a Japanese Cruiser Division of 2 Myoko-class Heavy Cruisers (Myoko and Haguro), 1 Sendai-class Light Cruiser (Sendai), 1 Agano-class Light Cruiser (Agano), 3 Shiratsuyu-class Destroyers (Shiratsuyu, Shigure, and Samidare), The Kagerō-class Destroyer Hatsukaze, Akizuki-class Destroyer Wakatsuki and Yūgumo-class Destroyer Naganami to defend the Landing Area of Cape Torokina on the island of Bougainville. 2.) The Battle off Samar, The Battle of Leyte Gulf but it's Operation Ten-Go in Iron Bottom Sound. Battleship *Musashi* with Light Cruiser Yahagi and 8 Destroyers steam into the New Georgia Sound (aka "Iron Bottom Sound") to attack the Landings at Guadalcanal and The Florida Islands expecting to just just the Transport Ships in the area only to find that there's a small Task Force with Escort Vessels still there. These vessels are only to be misidentified as actual fleet Units and their Main mission is to Protect the Transport Ships from Submarines and support the Troops as they make their way inland. The Task Force TF 24.3, or "Taffy 3" as they're called, is Assigned to patrol the New Georgia Sound itself while Taffy's 1 and 2 Each Patrol an Opposite End of Guadalcanal on the Seaward Side of the Island. Each Transport Group has a Few High Speed Transports, or APD's, as part of the Local Escort since they're destroyers that are too old to continue to function as such and have been converted into the Troop Transport role. Taffy 3 has 4 Fletcher-class Destroyers, 5 John C. Butler-class Destroyer Escorts, 2 Bogue- and 4 Casablanca-class Escort Carriers, each with up to 16 FM-2 Wildcat Fighter-Bombers and 12 TBM-1C Avenger Multirole Torpedo Bombers in the Composite Squadrons they were home to. Hope you like the Idea, I spent maybe 30-40 minutes typing this up! Don't think I didn't catch the Tokyo Express Mod here as well, as much as I like War on the Sea, The overall selection leaves a bit to be desired so the Tokyo Express Mod is a great call for all sorts of fun.

@Zuikaku Zk9, correction for the Battle of Empress Augusta Bay. The Destroyer Squadron was DESRON 23 with the First 4 Ships listed in DESDIV 45 and the Last 4 as DESDIV 46.

So you've lost a Yamato while fighting against a slow WWI dreadnought and a couple of cruisers??? Video suggestion: Montana vs Yamato 30km range 1 vs 1
