The detail these guys poured into this game is mind numbing. I've stood in the door of the Dunker church. The landscape they coded looks spot on. I bet ol' Jed Hotchkiss would be impressed.

As a non-professional WoR gamer I really appreciate the game as a whole. It really seems like the only game out there which promotes teamwork over personal skill the best.

That Union flanking maneuver at 14:00 was gorgeous

War of Rights is an FPS experience that can't be explained til you get in and try it. LISTEN TO YOUR OFFICERS AND DONT RUN OFF ALONE. That's all that you have to do to have an amazing experience

I'm a Hell Let Loose player and this game looks awesome. I love watching these videos. The confeds moving that Arty is really slow but realistic. That flanking manouver by the Union was good

I don't play but I've seen a lot of WoR videos; never knew how great this game looks and sounds until this video.

Really adds to the immersion now that you can't hear the INACCURATE "commands" in the Voice Chat.

1. i7-9700k (looking to upgrade at some point) and a GTX 2080S (Works great). 2. I do have a 4k monitor that I record on. With my specs the majority of games run very well but for Intense stuff like WoR the CPU falls behind (40-60 fps), hence why I want an upgrade

the amount of bodies around that house sheesh... this is a game where they need to have bodies not disappear and if enough of them get stacked on each other, it could eventually become an obstacle like GoT battle of bastards

Cheers for the comment. They're planning on adding cavalry sometime this year (my guess Is 6 months away but I dont actually know). They've already shown footage of horses towing cavalry

Doubt it, since the game handles relatively shaky with 250 players sometimes. Maybe eventually they’ll figure out how to handle 500-800 but like I said.. doubt it.

These are all real players and I am just spectating. You pick a team then pick one of two regiments. You can be an officer or various soldier types. You listen to your officer and try to take the objective Is the jist of the game.

You'll get some decent games during the week but every weekend It's a guarantee to get multiple full servers

It's set in the 1862 Maryland campaign, the decision to recruit black soldiers was not for another year. If the game expands to other battles it's possible that there could be black troopers in the future.

When War of Rights starts to acknowledge the contribution of black soldiers to the war effort, I'll certainly have some interest in buying it. As it completely negates and cancels out this historical contribution in it's current iteration, reflecting every bad stereotype about "game devs," I'll pass. There aren't even any plans to implement something like an "1864" mod consisting of exactly one minor change to the game (allowing people to choose black skin). Which tells you a lot.

This is specifically the 1862 Maryland Campaign. Black soldiers weren't a thing yet.

@@christianv7997 "Let's base our game on the civil war on a time and place where there were no black troops." It's facking stupid. It's a 3d game with terrain and physics. An 1863 option would require exactly 1 hour of Dev work. Nothing else would need to change.

Great looking game. I have watched friends play online and I must say some of the outright racism displayed by a number of players is disgusting.

CSA need learn to how to cover the left and right side so the union don't go into the woods and Flank, plus you can use the woods to move left to right without the union seeing. Shooting from the centre fence line in front of the church, is the weakest tactic in the game. When will pubbies ever learn lolol

Flags change based on the unit. These units do not have them which is likely to be historically accurate as the game has great attention to detail. Other units have such flags.

Confederate battle flags weren’t as common as the flag shown in this battle. The CSA flag was the official flag of the confederacy.

This is 1861 - early 1862. The first national flag and other regimental flags were more common place at that time.
