Just top tier acting right there. No one can reach Serkis presence, maybe that's why I wasn't that engaged in the new one.

I have so much respect for the actors playing the apes. And so much respect for everybody who worked on the special effects. I have respect for everybody working on movies like this. I think a lot forget how difficult it is to make something like this. We always talk about the actors but never talk about the people working behind the scenes.

Andy Serkis deserved an academy award for best actor for this film. It’s a shame the academy won’t acknowledge that the performances were actual acting and not just CGI

"And the Oscar goes to...". Is amazing what he can done.

They left out the sad little smile. Bad Ape was thinking of something funny or cute his kid did, almost forgot for a second, but the pain returned.

This part is so underrated because it’s sort of quick, but the way Rocket looked at Winter with such power and intensity since Rocket could relate to Cesars pain when it comes to losing a son is AMAZING. He looked at him with such disgust.

What an extraordinary achievement of visual fx & filmaking. I'll take this over star wars anyday.

The Caesar trilogy was excellent. The second movie, Dawn, may have supplanted Return of the King as my favorite blockbuster-type movie.

Heh... What took them years and years to create for games in the early 90's is now used to make simple storyboards ;)

Honestly, I don't like fiction movies at all. But I do respect the technicians and the creators of the movies and the actors (who can put feelings for unrealistic world, not even the same situation of daily basis).
