I love the L'Extase Rose Absolue but haven't yet tried the original L'Extase but will purchase soon! The Rose Absolue is so deep and smooth and just a lovely overall scent. From watching your videos, I think my tastes in fragrance are pretty similar to yours. I just saw a gift set for L'Extase that comes with a body cream and mini and large perfume, so I am definitely going to get it asap!

I wish perfumes in Australia were more affordable. Nina Ricci here is still around $120 to $150 for these which puts them more in the designer fragrance realm for me.

So I had purchased the original L'extase because of a video I watched of yours, Karina, and I bought it so fast I absolutely adore it. I then noticed many people raving about Rose Absolue and how unavailable it is because of its popularity so when I had the chance I snatched it right up..... but I gotta say I do love the original L'extase more. You definitely don't need both, they are quite similar but the original has a sweet note to it that I am addicted to. and yes it is very underrated

That’s so good to hear! I didn’t love Oud Satin Mood either and I really wanted to. I just received L’exstase and Rose Extase. So now I think I’ll get the L’exstase Rose Absolue instead of Oud Satin Mood and save some pennies! OSM does last forever tho. Thanks for the review. 😊

Nina l'extase is a fruity pink pepper caramel scent It's very sweet but not cloying at all, the fresh fruits (peach i guess) gives it a fresh touch that makes the perfume wearable and enjoyable It's gorgeous

I have the MFK Oud Satin Mood Extrait and the Rose Absolue smells almost the exact same on my skin, the rose is a bit more jammy in the initial first few minutes, and last for 6+ hours.

This comment section just told me not to believe anyone recommending these 😂😂😂

Haven't tried the original but I recently got a great deal on the Rose Absolu - (hard to find these days or not without paying a whole lot more) - so I went ahead and bought a bottle - as a blind buy - and I tried it on me for the very first time today. OMG - this scent is beyond amazing - totally intoxicating! I can't stop smelling my arm! I'm kicking myself for not picking up another bottle - if not multiple bottles - of this stuff - given the deal I got - but a week later - they are all sold out! Aaargh!

Okay, you seriously need to try Rose Extase. It's the best one from the line, imo

I have the same problem of getting many perfumes to last on my skin. I had a sample of Baccarat Rouge and could never smell it on myself nor could my husband. Gave it to my daughter and she smelled amazing.

I recently got nina ricci absolue as well and it is such a heavy hitter, a little too sweet for me but am still going to give it some time, before i decided to trash it/gift it to friends or family. Great insight and thanks for comparison opinion!

I wear my oud satin mood oil with the rose absolue...GORGEOUS!! Happy that it lasts on my skin in this Michigan cold weather🥰

Oud satin mood is definitely richer and more opulent than rose absolute. Rose absolute is a very shy version of it. I would say if OSM is a little too much for you then go for rose absolute. I love both and you’re right, the rose absolute does not last very long.

Definitely only buy Nina Ricci L'extase if you like Rose fragrances. I wish I liked it but it was too old women for me. I blind bought it as some folks mentioned it was sexy, sweet and caramel which I'm all for but all I got was Rose. Definitely try it on your own skin though as my chemistry must not mix well with it.

I have oud satin mood and ninna Richie L’extase original and although they give a somewhat similar vibe... ON ME, L’extase comes off synthetic and cloying :( . Then on the bottle it smells a little bit fishy . Also have the rose absolue , same thing 😔

The Rose Absolue is very much like Oud Satin Mood. I love both of them but original I have to be in the mood for it

HEY GIRLL!!! Okay the only thing I don’t like about Rose Absolue is how tart it is! I wish there was some kind of powdery aspect to calm down that spikey rose! Otherwise it’s super opulent especially in the dry down!

Has anyone tried L'extase caresse de roses? I bought it thinking it would be similar to the original. Huge fail in my case! Curious about other opinions.

Honestly I didn't like either of those two, but I think they would have been PERFECT if there was no Benzoin. My favorite of the line is rose Extase; definitely has Delina vibes (doesn't smell like Delina, I have that one as well, but it's a nice fruity jammy rose), and without the Benzoin! P.S that top color is GORGEOUS on you 😍 where is it from?

To my nose JPG la belle le parfum is identical to angels share. At least to me they’re very very similar.

I'm gonna get both! I have rose extase and i i love it! I want something a little more of a mature version of it though and these two sounds like right up my alley.

Hey, I was waiting for this!!! I have Oud Satin Mood , and my MoM was like “ Oh my goodness what you wearing “. Lol Even days later she was like that perfume you had on smelled so good. On me it’s sweet with the violet , rose and our goodness!!

Oud satin mood is definitely not a safe blind buy. Its not your typical perfume, its not so smooth and crowd pleasing as 540

I blind bought L’extase and all I smell is plastic, pepper and a very vintage rose. The bottle and sprayer are great but it is not the scent for me at all. Currently trying to sell it on my Mercari to give it the home it deserves.

Maybe the similarities between those two come from the fact that both of them are created by MFK. Love them both!

On my skin they both smell completely the same I can’t tell the difference between them. Amazing! Love them both.

The black bottle smells so strong, couldn't breathe I was going to die. It's an eastern perfume for a special evening. It's like you made the darkest tea and put too much sugar in it. smells best from far away. it's a kind of perfumes that makes the whole house smells like it. 🤣 I couldn't breathe 😫👃 I opened the window. The smell is not bad but what makes it so special is being Highly concentrated. Not for me.

This is one of those times where Fragrantica failed me😢 Rose Absolue is NOT an MFK dupe, ya'll. It's worth the 30 or so bucks if you're a collector, otherwise just get the original. It's pricey but worth every cent.

I think similarities are intentional with MFK, the same BR540 and Burberry Her. Not the same but similar for sure. MFK leaves a signature trail in his fragrances to link the relations. Definitely a smart branding move.

I would pass on this one "l extase" I ve recently owned it and gave it away it smells awfully sweet and then turnes to a very outdated scented baby powder from the 1970s
