Thank you for making these videos about the reality of this industry and giving motivation to new breeders like myself. I started keeping ball pythons fresh out of high school about 8 years ago and was really pumped to breed and do it for a living. I had about 12-13 adults and couldn’t wait to get started had plans multiple years out for my projects BUT as I started going to local expos and talking to more and more people they would tell me the same thing “there’s no money in it, it’s a dying industry” etc.it was a huge discouragement so I stopped And sold everything. I didn’t even get to see my first lock. But now over the last year I started to get the itch again and I have 2 females that have been locking like crazy so I’m hoping for the best! You could always take the advice given on Reddit! Basically, whenever anyone posts about breeding, they just get told that it's pointless, non-profitable (but that if you want to actually make a profit, you're greedy and evil), that they'll fail, and that breeders are evil! This is also while advising to avoid wild-caught snakes and always buy from breeders! Hooray for Reddit! Anyway, good luck to you and I wish you well!

You , Ozzy, and Chris Hardwick have helped me out immensely in realizing I could start this hobby/business . I don't understand why people hate these types of videos . It gives us the public an eye in to your mindset as pertaining to you business . Ty for the content good sir

Thanks for the info... I've just purchased my first BP and I'm just in love with her... I've also been watching videos and doing my research for the past 6-8 months... Now I'm saving up for all of the tools that I'll be needing for breeding and creating my very own BP... The excitement is crazy... i feel like a kid all over again...

U really do have very beautiful snakes I'm not a snake breeder myself I just love watching these videos definitely because I'm a little bit scare of snakes too especially with my cerebral palsy that I was born with it too but keep up with the good work too much love too I will be turning 40 yrs old next year too. 😊❤

Really like the direction and message of this video. Some people out there really want control of upcoming breeders. Then some will go out of their way to fully help and guide in any direction you could want. Also helping make sure you avoid their previous mistakes. Thanks again!

Awesome video!! I live in Brazil and I'm a reptile hobbyist since 2014. I want to be able to breed native species (Basins, amz tree boas, BCCs, Rainbow boas) commercially, but ironically it's illegal to breed reptiles here. I am setting everything so I can move to a country where I can do it legally, and show the world how beautiful Brazilian snakes are (and can become). Thank You for the inspiring video, I can't see myself doing another thing for a living and that's for sure! A lot of aspects of this hobby scare me, but there's no other path to go.

I plan on starting to breed later this uear so this is great info. I want to start small and have a goal of just making enough to buy racks and equipment then go from there.

Love this my guy. I am nobody but I would like to start working with Kenyan Sand Boas and Start breeding beautiful morphs in a few years. Thank you for the info and advice.

Awesome video , love the channel. A video I've been looking for is one on starting out and what's the best cost effective setup that a person could run a project to see if this industry is for them. That’s the big goal for me with this being dale to have time where the gf and I can do this together. Coming across your video building your snake room pushed me to get into the ball pythons.
