Really rad setup! Stoked to have you training on them. If the edges are ripping your fingers up you can sand the edges down to make them comfier!

@@mitchellbarnow1709 yeah that’s a good point I’d say if your intermediate go with 10mm first.

You managed to talk about table saws and push sticks without mentioning Tommy Caldwell's missing finger. That story still makes me wince!

As much as I don' like youtube power tool safety comments.... Cutting pieces that are short and thin and leaving them between the blade and fence can end up with one being launched back at you if it catches the back side of the blade. Use a spacer block against the fence but behind the front of the blade so you end up with an extra few inches between the cut off piece and the fence. Nice concept overall for quick change training holds.

Always a big fear of mine. I want to build some jigs for cross cuts and stuff. Thanks for the safety tip much appreciated!

@@BetaClimbers No need to go full cross cut sled unless you have more projects. The cheap miter bar the saw comes with will do most work, just don't use the miter bar AND the fence at the same time with short pieces. Either pulling the fence off or sliding it a few inches out of the way will do the trick. For mostly repeatable miter bar cuts you can mark the table top with a pencil line.

Very good way to get any position possible. After watching this I feel like I should get good hard wood and take my wood router to create my crimp holes, i could create whatever I want.
