B58 stock engine record is only 856whp set this passed January by realstreet. 2JZ stock engine record is 1100whp.

I have not really payed attention to this car until this past weekend when I went on a toy drive. These are now growing on me and interested now. Your car is the perfect stance IMO and if I were to get one would want your stance. Thanks for the video.

The steering wheel is like the wheels and tires you need to be satisfied with them to love your car. Some times the simple mods have the biggest impact.

With a CES catless dp and Ecutek I'm more than 100whp over stock, and it's really all the car needs for now. If we had E closer to where I lived, I'd be running that as well. Well done vid, man.

the wheel/tire choice and fitment and depth of the dish on those wheels is perfection. Usually not as big of a fan of the black, but this sort of changes my mind

I love your supra. Hopefully I'll be able to get my own someday.

If you're on a budget get a BMW M140i. Exact same engine at a very low price.

I had a mk7 golf R stage 2 and it was a 3 sec 0-60 car and I got it to 170 in Mexico only stopping cuz tires weren’t rated higher, I had a fallout of life and downgraded to a mustang eco boost, which is fun but not damn anywhere NEAR that golf. But now im steady and getting ready for a nice birthday present and it’s going to be a brand new supra and this video was very nice and motivating seeing your passion for this car. Thank you

it's so true how under appreciated most people are with today's cars and performance and simplicity of it, yes nothing will beat the RAW power that older cars bring, but teens just think almost everything that isn't over 700+ hp is slow until that actually drive it and crash it after one pull.. or their parents bought them everything and provided.

Its true! KW suspension is awesome! i got them on mine and they give a factory ride on a lower ride height.

I'm obsessed with the way the new Supra looks. It's made me grow out of my 2019 WRX within 2 years...already looking to trade it in and get a used 2020 Supra. They're perfect.

For what the resale is on the wrx do it. I just traded my 18 WRX for a 19 RS3 and love it. I looked at a 21 Supra but it was too small and I needed a useful backseat

So close to pulling the trigger on a 2020 supra. Great informative video. Looking at making 400 whp, Looks like catless Downpipe, Intake and custom tune on 98 Octane will get me there.

Well considering the new 2021+ B58 has a 6 port cylinder head for a more traditional 6 port turbo/exhaust manifold, it'll open up way more aftermarket options. But at least the new 6 port cylinder head is a direct plug and play for the older 2020 2 port B58's.

Got my sub. This might be my favorite looking generation for the supra, and I'm looking forward to buying one in the next few years.

@@josorzo11 this car is surprisingly reliable tho. The B58 itself was already a pretty reliable engine and the B58TU in this car was specced by Toyota to make sure it doesn't ruin their image of ultra reliable car from what I've heard. I've driven it a couple times, it's a very fun car

I just started looking at these cars. I come from the B-Series Honda generation, so this car is amazing to me.

My supra with just stage 1 already gaps most cars on the road lol. I full car gapped a new camaro SS while having traction issues off the line. Im gonna get a downpipe for it soon to bump it up to stage 2. You really don't need much to make these cars fast. They're also ridiculously fun to drive.

When I get mine, im just gonna save up and do full bolt ons with a conservative tune to maintain reliability.

Steering wheel IS underrated, THANK YOU! One wouldn’t think so, but if you think about it it makes sense. It’s what your hands are touching, using to manipulate the vehicle. Nothing between. Anyways, I discovered this when I put an OMP wheel on my frs a few years ago.

Crazy the way things have changed, just tuning my mk7 gti went from 215whp to 306

The b58 is an amazing engine. Easy power, reliable and a plethora of platforms to choose from. Amazing video my dude speaking the truth. And as an owner of a f30 340xi 6spd it's been my favorite chassis and engine from bmw since my e92 335is with the n54 which is my second favorite bmw engine. Don't know if the supra is the perfect platform as the b58 has many different chassis to choose from. It's still missing an optional manual transmission which is a huge let down for me so if I wanted a similar coupe I'd get a 440i m sport and add bmw performance lsd or get xdrive if needed. I'd love to get a supra and make it a 800whp weekend beast if it had a manual transmission. The used market is best bang for buck on some of these f series b58 trims. And true to your point, good quality custom tunes are 100 percent the best way to go. The car will make more power and be smoother. I rolled on the floor when you mentioned the Hondas. Holla at your boy I had a 1999 boosted Integra gsr. Loved that car but no more fwd for me. Love them classics though.

The Supra is finally coming with a manual!

So I’ve been wanting to get the F80 M3 but also the GR Supras. My thing is is for the same cost for a high mileage M3 I can get a low mileage Supra. What made you switch from BMW to the Supra and do you think I should go for the Supra being a big time car modifier myself?

I've been reading up on the B58. Potential is gr8 for it so far. Reasons why I'm considering the M240i currently.

Picked up my 240 a month ago, I love it. Hope you made the right choice ;)

Running a CTS turbo, S58 injectors, stage 2 HPFP, downpipe, and CTs intake and at 698 Rear wheel HP o my 2020 6 port.

I like the video you made it easy to understand the setup even gave me an idea on how to improve mine i just added a Toyota VctorRacing active wing and will help me to make it work better.

Great video, great information. Question thought if you don't mind. It looks like you're running an aftermarket cold air intake on your car. If so, what make and model is it? Thank you for your time.

For now the car is a lease, didn’t know which way the value was going to go... like you I was not a big fan of this car but since I picked it up new 4 months ago I am very impressed. Starting to build it with what will not void the warrantee first. When the lease is up I want to fully build it

Hey whips, are you able to please tell me what the clearance is from your body to the ground? Just asking because i like your ride height and if I copy this setup when i get my Supra, in my country we are required to have a minimum 100mm clearance to the body, so just want to know if I can have mine this low. I've had 3 MKIV's. Super easy to work on, never had any problems besides reg maint. I think I'll be swappin a 2j in my new a90.

How does adding the tune work? Do I google "tuners near me" and tell them I want the tune you're mentioning? Probably clear I've never dealt with tuning haha but I'd like to for my '21 a91

My nephew just bought a new Supra. I was actually surprised how hard it pulled when I drove it. I like the big torque hit you get when you stomp it, the factory tune is nice. He's already taking meth injection, lol.

That's amazing you can get the HP improvement with just a tune. So why do you think they don't use an improved factory tune on the regular pump gas? Seems like a small win.

Probably because they have to meet emission and efficiency standards.

BMW guys knew the Supra was going to be a beast. JDM boys just didn't know the extreme potential of the B58 platform. Germans have been killing it when it comes to beefy engines that can take and make some big power.

I had a 2018 TA392, it was a sweet car, but now have a 2022 A91-CF and i no longer miss my Dodge lol. You wont look back if you make that trade from a performance aspect.

Any ecu after June 2021 is locked and will brick itself if you try to tune it. You have to remove the ecu from the car and ship it to Europe to get it decrypted and unlocked. Something for folks to keep in mind.

Man love the wheels and fitment good job and keep it up!

Just make sure you get one that doesn't have its ECU locked... like mine. Hopefully one day it does get unlocked. I know I can go the JB4 route, but I think I'll just wait. :(

It will it takes time but it will, my e92 was locked and MHD unlocked it a couple years later I’m sure it’s faster nowadays just takes time.

Question please: - 1st- how tall are you... I'm concerned at 6'2 I won't fit in this car, 2nd - also this is the 2.0 correct so the 3.0 would be especially rocking with what you have done yes/no...? Will you void your warranty with tuning these cars as with Ford, Chev and Dodge you're warranty is in the wind if you touch it with a computer ... 😊

Did you ever use any BM3 OTS tunes and have dyno numbers from them? I've been running a DP + OTS stage 2 93 tune with my A90 for a while now and haven't gotten a custom E50 tune due to the lack of E85 in my area... but now I'm considering going Pure800 or a top mount kit, do you recommend going straight from OTS BM3 to a turbo + custom tune?

I’ve dynod everything from stock until now. Custom tune is always the answer. If you are going pure you’ll need a custom tune to run that turbo optimally
