I have the boostlogic system on my A91 and it’s insane compared to all the systems here. However my second choice would’ve been the X-Mod system.

So it can be slower? That will kill power in this car, pretty sure. I doubt they will do it considering they use an 8 speed auto trans at this time. They need to change it to have this much power with 5-6 speed manual? Maybe they will considering how many want it, but I don't see that being an easy change.

It seems I disagree with nearly everything you’ve said, to each their own: Sure I’d give up launch control and 1 extra second to 60mph, since it’d have no bearing on 99% of my drive/commute. OEM manual transmissions which handle ~400hp are entirely feasible and already exist. Yes I’m aware the 8-speed auto is the current trans offered, hence my comment. Who even offers new 5-speed manuals btw? All are 6-speed and 7-speed by now. The complaints about offering auto-only in this car are pretty common and, yes obviously Toyota would only introduce a manual option if it was financially justified. The gentleman from Toyota overseeing the Supra program has already said they are looking to introduce 1 new exciting feature/variant per model year. A racier version, and a manual offering were both top candidates as of last year, so who knows. I expect the targa top from their recent factory-backed show car will be an option at some point, too.

It's not rumours. This is facts duh. The new Mk5 supra has a BMW engine, just because the engine itself has a Toyota emblem built in doesn't mean the whole engine is Toyota's....The real complain should be why people dislike the partnership with bmw so much. BMW technology is fantastic and Toyota's traditional GR steering and tuning is fantastic too. Also bmw Sport cars sucks and Toyota is more like an expert with making sport cars. This Mk5 is a phenomenal car
