PINNACLE IS JUST PERFECT!!!!! Incredible sound!

Hey Brett! Great video as always! I was wandering if you had the time to update this video by including the Wampler Sovereign distortion. I really can not decide which great Wampler pedal to buy! I think I have narrowed it down between the Plextortion and the Sovereign, but I really cannot decide. They both seem to be great pedals! If you do not have the time to make a video your input is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Huge fan! RAWK! :D

Hi Brett. This is my first comment after watching at least 10 of your demo videos. Hats off to your playing and above all to your experienced, tasteful settings. And you have a sweet lil girl who can be seen in the Triple Wreck video. As always, you don't talk that much, instead you're playing your axe which is what Frank Zappa had already recommended ;-) A great tone demo which spares me to visit a shop, I can order online straight away. Fantastic video Brett as always, but I gotta ask ya this. In your opinion which is better for direct recordings, the Tech 21Blonde or Rock Bug. Say if the Blonde is set as flat as possible, which one sounds better recorded and which one takes pedals better ? Thanks..Cheers man !!!

I'm not at all one for distortion pedals, I think a lot of them have the potential to be great, but my tube amp has loads o distortion packed in. That being said, if I ever had use for an overdrive, I'd go with the Plexi-Drive. I love the fact that it gives you the grit but doesn't color your guitars signal.

I love the Pinnacle, it sounds very dirty, when it really is not. When I get carried away and go to 11 it's still is not muddy. I wish I could test a Soveriegn, I think I may need one vs. the Plextortion. I just don't want to get pedals that sound to much alike.

Good way to do the comparison. The Pinnacle and the Plexi-Drive are the winners for me.

Have you ever played the carl martin plexi pedal ? how does it stack up against these? Sorry for all the questions you can't test these things out any were you just have to buy them and the carl martin one sounds really good too ! Just would like your input.

so which pedal has more gain? the plextortion or super-plextortion? in this video it sounds like the plextortion has more

The Plexi drive sounds the most like a Marshall. It just needs to be a double pedal like the Pinnacle and have another gain stage on the other side. One side Plexi and the other JCM 800 with sweeping mids. The Pinnacle had lots of gain but no tone. The plextortion sounded good also.

I haven't seen a pinnacle like that, is it a newer version?

Weird but through my Altec Lansing and Jbl's the Super Plextortion sounds fuller

I like plextortion, very thight dist.to play zz top and pinnacle more lose dist and open to play heavy stuff 2 thumbs for wrampler at beginning I was unsure wich one I decide to buy but as i own a clean amp a fender blues deluxe limited edition I will go for thight dist.

Wampler is amazing I just got one :)

In this video, the plexi drive sounds mor natural and organic than the super plexitortion. I liked the Plexitortion way more than ll the other ones.

The Pinnacle has a better girth, for some things it sounds smoother to my ears and more musical. The SP is also a good sounding pedal as is the Plexi drive, but this is alot like the tweed pedal clones that came out over the years...so many to choose from that without reviews like this you'd spend time and cash looking for 'the one'

plexi drive sounds best to me - is it the cheapest maybe i have cheap ears.

if pinnacle only has a bass control, or plextortion has a boost switch. brian wampler should make a pinnacle deluxe, plextortion and sovereign combined in one

I'd go with the Pinnacle personally.

I have a Carl Martin Plexitone and that is the most dead on plexi and jcm 800 to me. It is a double pedal. Demo those side by side and you will see what I mean.

for this video, I like plexidrive's sound, next is pinnacle. I wish I have both haha

My Pinnacle Deluxe doesn´t sound nearly as good as this video, at least thorugh the clean channel of my Laney TT50C. Not brown sounding, not tight enough... My Bogner Red sounds much better when attempting an EVH tone.
