Great video essay! It's crazy to see how most of these laws can apply to Gus as well. Just goes to show how similar Gus and Walter are, even if Gus thinks the opposite.

I was on the verge of making it a "breaking bad and the 48 laws of power" video because there were 1 or 2 others that applied to Gus lol. But yea a lot of this also applies to Gus
The issue with Walter taking over after Gis was Walter wasn't diligent enough. He wasn't drug king pin material. Gus' ocd, connections, ruthlessness, and extra attention to detail was what made him basically untouchable. Walter was just able to identify his one weakness which was his thirst for revenge for his brother. Had Gus not cared about revenge for his brother he could have skyrocketed even higher
Another great video man. The way Walter mimics his adversaries is such a cool detail I never picked up on.

Thank you!
You can apply even more rules on better call Saul
Walter didn't cook Methylamine, he cooked Methamphetamine, the Methylamine being the precursor chemical used for the cook :) Otherwise, nice analysis, I like the editing!
