All the snowbelt towns have fleets of them still

Makes you wonder how many of these old trucks went to the scrap yard? Would love to see one restored especially here in upstate NY to remind people who complain about some of the winters now to show them what it was like back then.

Yeah, there was a RD roll off and R wrecker. The was one Brockway 260 and a four 776, all in tough shape.

awesome, someone should restore that puppy! Prob w/ a little work, might get it going

Oh. I remember all the Brockways because they were posted on the Brockway site. Rough because they were state trucks. Do you have any more videos from the auction?

Wow its such a massive beast. Yea Henderson ny its way up near the Canada border. No wonder its a beast a 5 foot snowstorm is normal there haha

Henderson is actually north of our real snow belt. Jean about 30 miles southeast and you'll be in the lake effect area (Tug Hill plateau).

Yup. Only two Macks but only one was for sale. No U-Models. ;) Stay tuned.

Ok sweet. When I drove by there before I remember an RD. I also though there was a 359 Brockway? Thanks for the heads up on no U models. I would have been sad that I missed them. :-) haha

noted that you said that they are in good hands..any chance of you getting updates on these beasts..they are just so rare in my estimation..would love to see one up and about..thanks..

Great video cool machines, looks like the first one had a Detriot or maybe Cummins engine.

Wow this brings back memories of watching these guys compete at the snow plow roedo (sp?) as a kid. getting up to sit in them at eh O.C. Fair in SC.

Were these at the auction at Dobbins in Adams? I kinda wanted to go to that but I had a different thing to do. (Check out my latest videos) was there any old Macks?

if I had the funds I would travel around buying & restoring old beasts like these, such a shame to see them left to rust.

my main point is that their are so many perfectly rebuildable classics out there being left to turn to rust and it is a damned shame.
