I feel like Walt Disney is like the father I never had. Without him, Disney world and Disneyland wouldn’t exist. Thank you Walt for making and spreading peace and joy to everyone around the country and around the globe! I’m currently inside my Disney hotel room right now and I’m about to go the magic kingdom today! Unfortunately, I have to go back home to NYC today but I’ll never forget the fun time I had at Disney world for my college spring break. I’ll be going home to NYC with the happy memories I made. I can hear Disney telling me, “I’m so glad that you love Disney world so much that you don’t wanna leave. But remember, disney world is forever. Disney World, is your world. It’ll always be here for you and you will totally come back in the future! You’re always welcome at this magical place at anytime!”

Walt Disney is and will always be an American hero. My hero. I have great love and admiration for that man. He did something for millions of children that is unparalleled. He gave them the happiest memories that will last forever. I can remember being 6 or 7 years old and sitting on the bank of the river of America, just in awe of that place. My sister and I would get so excited to see the Matterhorn from the freeway getting there and then when we had to leave; looking out of the back window of the car as we were driving away, crying until it was out of sight. I still go to Disneyland every couple of years just to be that little kid again. It truly is the happiest place on earth.

This video is AWES-MAZING!! It shows just how much Walt wanted to bring the magic of some place that we've seen in like a fairy tale and bring it to life in so many amazing ways! This video shows just how Disneyland has grown since it opened back in 1955, and now look at it! It brings smiles, happiness, memories, and magic to millions of families from around the world! Walt said that Disneyland will never be finished, and that's exactly what's gonna happen, Disneyland will keep growing and keep getting more magical with every passing year. This video shows just how magical the park has been since it opened and how Walt's vision has influenced the minds and imaginations of kids from around the world. And this video shows just how Walt's vision and dream has continued and progressed to the present day where Disneyland is still bringing memories and magic to millions! And even though Walt isn't here physically, his spirit is still in the park and he's happy to see how it turned out. Even though things may change, Disneyland will continue to be the greatest dream in Walt's book, and it'll always be with us no matter what. As a kid my family were so poor, the closest i could come as putting a disk or pictures into a viewer and flicking through it., Main Street, mickey, the train, it was a dream. The first time as an adult i went under those arches i felt like a kid. My children dont understand why i love Disney, my wife does, but in the end, my heart is warm when i enter Disney and i will bring my grandchildren here when they come, so they will not know what its like not to experience this place, as i did. For me watching this it brings back so many memories, Disney, Fred quimby tom and jerry and Star Trek. A kid dreamed and through sheer will i got to my position now. Walt was a personal hero, which is why I ALWAYS go to its carousel of progress and the WD story. Its to me humbling that some that can come from nothing, fail so many time be keeps on with the dream makes it, the UK dreamed of the “American dream” which can happen if you will it.
