I wish there were some film footage of Walt talking to Mickey same as he did with Donald.

"The Gable of our stable" is very high praise especially back then.

Really dig the amount of cameos in this one You got the Crocodile from Peter Pan at 3:03 At 6:30 there’s Willie the Giant from “Mickey and the Beanstalk” and Pete is next to him, idk if the Moose was ever in a cartoon and I don’t know what that thing on Willie’s right even is And during the lineup bit at 8:29 you got the Gorilla from “Donald and the Gorilla” (a clip of him plays at 6:38) the Wolf from “Peter and the Wolf” (not a Donald short but he does show up at 6:52) the Crocodile from “Don’s Fountain of Youth” I’m guessing it’s him since he shows up at 6:48), Lumpjaw from “Bongo” (again not a Donald short but it looks just like him) and Pete again. Idk about the Moose and the Lion, I’m sure they’re a reference to something but idk what

I'm not sure if it's that particular moose, but Mickey, Donald and Goofy did go moose-hunting once ("Moose Hunters" from 1937), which naturally didn't go over well. As for what's beside Willie, it looks like the Reluctant Dragon! And if you look carefully at the bottom of that picture beneath the moose, you'll see an alligator that clearly looks like one of the ones from the "Dance of the Hours" segment of "Fantasia".

Frontierland hands down! I love all the frontier series like Elfego Baca, Andy Burnett, Zorro, Texas John Slaughter, Daniel Boone to name a few!!! I’m a die hard live-action film and TV fan!
