$15 vs $150 tournament. Everyone starts with a Walmart board and Ricky style shorts, white tee and a pair of white socks. Winner gets to upgrade 1 part of their board or ensemble. Losers have only $15 to spend. Last one standing gets their choice of any of the parts purchased or a cash prize, let's say $300.00. Gabe has to compete, or drop in on vert. Don't be scared homies.

'Battle of the Brands' series. Pit brands against each other; for example LAKAI vs ETNIES, VANS vs DC, BRAILLE VS CARIUMA etc etc. I think it would be a interesting series, like a tournament bracket style games of "S-K-A-T-E". BRAILLE members will pull a brand from a hat and thats the brand they wear and represent for the tournament.

I think the cheaper shoes helped Aaron out. Because they were tighter and fit his feet better. And he could feel the board a little more. Maybe I don't know, just my opinion.

Yeah man I remember I had two pairs of shoes one pair was a sweide and it fit snug and the other we're like the 150 ones and I remember after skating the sweide I had to skate the leather and I felt like I was skating switch for a bit

This is a great test, I always thought Nike was the best skate shoe that lasts the longest. But I’ve never skated converse.

Please skate the Nike Free Run 5.0 Next Nature's. That's my favorite shoe. I get multiple pairs at the clearance outlet for pretty cheap. It's the lightest thinnest shoe I am aware of. I have always wanted to skate in them, but I don't think they would last even a few tricks. They hold up in the washing machine though.

Suede is actually a cut out area grain of leather same as nubuk Suede is a split from off of the grain side and would be fuzzy on both the top and bottom - So roughout leather is from the underside of the skin, whereas suede is made by splitting the skin down the middle.

Game of Skate in Combat Boots Nigel will for sure win that one!

Check out Rose Anvil for all your leather shoe knowledge needs. Top grain vs suede. Top grain is tightly interlocked and smooth, low grip. Suede side is rough and loose interlocked fibers that are more resistant to scratching/slicing and also grip better.

Honestly if those cheap skate shoes feel comfortable enough to ride on and maybe an ollie, I might just get a pair for a work related photo and video shoot lol. Been looking for weeks on discounts on skate shoes that aren't mids since I need to show off socks.

@@ONKINGDAVID well thats a lie, considering I've got 3 sessions in them already and still holding up fine besides a little wear on the rubber from kickflips. For $25 these are excellent shoes. I bought the white ones with gum sole.

One thing about Aaron thats for sure, is that low key he aint mad at it

I always buy walmart shoes as I use them to cut grass. They don't hold up as well as other brands. Usually walmarts shoes have low grade grips and soles.
