Can you explain the extra screw, and placement a little more clearly? It was hard to see where it was placed, and how it helped stabilize the curtain rod. Thanks for an amazing video and a great idea.

The extra screw was used to connect the two pieces of the sliding bracket together to hold the weight of the paper roll (preventing it from pending down with the weight). First, we measured the amount of space needed from the bracket to the wall in order to mount the kraft paper roll by holding the bracket up next to the edge of the paper roll and pulling the sliding bracket to the correct spot. Then keeping the bracket held in that spot we drilled an extra hole through the metal. Once we added the extra screw, we used the Dremel to slide through it to remove the excess screw. We covered up the exposed metal with Sharpie to make it appear black.
