Thanks for watching! It's difficult to film private property without getting weird stares or being asked to turn off the camera.

Your audio had moments when it went quieter then suddenly loud. Was that the battery or some other thing? An otherwise brilliantly atmospheric piece of film, and a very long walk across the bridge. Thank you.

It might have been the GoPro switching audio modes to compensate for the windy noises. I don’t remember if I had the setting enabled or not.

Never been walking on this bridge before. This is the bridge that killed Etika, a KZread user and a fan of video games. He was committed suicide by jumping off of this bridge and pronounced dead on the water. I guess they should renamed the Manhattan Bridge as the Etika Manhattan Bridge, named after his user on KZread. The bridge was opened in 1909, and unlike the Williamsburg Bridge, it was the third bridge in Lower Manhattan as well as the first bridge to cross by car and subways. The man who designed the bridge was Leon Moisseiff. He later designed the Ben Franklin Bridge, the San Francisco/Oakland Bay Bridge, the Golden Gate Bridge, and the original Tacoma Narrows Bridge when it first opened in July 1940, and then it was completely collapsed a few months later due to heavy winds that cause the bridge to swing back and forth and destroyed them all. The side pavilions on the left is the anchorage with columns on top which is a nice look.

the manhattan bridge is like: 1/2 mile of brooklyn 1/3 mile of water 1/2 mile of manhattan. sometimes you have to remind yourself there was water there, somewhere, after crossing it.

Is there a walking tour with SPLITARSE? Sheesh, I guess that would just be boring...

graffiti everywhere. Is graffiti a sign of social unrest? An interesting thing i noticed....when you pass people they never actually look at you, in spite of your camera gear. i've seen this in all the videos i've watched from you.
