Walking Tour of Bay Harbor Islands Florida (Miami's Hidden Gem💎)

Today I'm taking you with me on a walking tour of Bay Harbor Islands Florida. Bay Harbor is a very small town hidden right in the middle of Miami. It consists of 2 small islands and is full of natural beauty! It also has a variety of options for housing, anything from a small affordable apartment, a nice 2 level townhouse with your own private garage or even a huge waterfront mansion!

Why are your walking videos so mesmerizing? I sit here watching them, eating my lunch in this cold WI winter, escaping for a bit. I'm 49 years old, and FINALLY got to visit Florida for the first time, last November, a few months before Covid ruined travel. We started out on the west side, by Clearwater Beach, and then drove down and then east across Alligator Alley. We intended on stopping in Miami for a quick visit, but then didn't. I wish we would have! We saw that huge guitar shaped hotel off in the distance. Crazy. Anyway, I hope you keep making these! I like the commentary, that's what makes them special.

I'm not sure, but I am glad you feel that way! That is great at least you got to come down before all the madness started. I know exactly where you're talking about. That guitar shaped hotel is the Hard Rock in Hollywood🎸 Next time definitely make a stop in Miami, totally worth the visit. I will keep making them, especially now that I see how much people are enjoying them 😊

Michael, I used to live in a house in the 102 W. area in Bay Harbor Is. with my grandparents a number of years ago. Visited them in many summers between college semesters. Always enjoyed their house, which unfortunately was taken down by the owner to put up a condo. They moved to the now-condo building at the end of 102 W, right off Biscayne Bay. on the N. side in Apr. 1967, when it opened after selling their house. That apartment complex converted to a condo in 1999, she couldn't afford it, and had to move to an apartment on Collins Ave. I really enjoyed seeing your walking tour. Oct.-Feb. is a terrific time to visit with the mild winter temperatures compared to the northern states, but between Apr-Sep. the heat-humidity combination is brutal, with the endless humidity the worst of it, and the sweating never stops when outside. I don't miss those big palmetto bugs that scurry under something when you turn on the light! Thanks again for the great walking tour!

Nice video. I looked at renting in Bay Harbor Islands back when I first moved to S. FL in 1990. Rents were about $700/mo for an older 2/2 back then.
