AK, love your Taiwan videos. So clean and orderly. Love the dedicated bus-ways (NYC take note). Also, the crosswalk sign to look right. I spent quite a while in Okinawa and it took me a few weeks to look in the correct direction AND to NOT jaywalk. It was hard for a NYC boy but I always try to respect another culture when I'm a guest. Cheers.

I love Taipei :D I've been four times since April 2017. Hope to live there someday. My girlfriend went to Taipei City Municipal Jinhua Junior High School, across from Da'an park.

9:09 Taipei buses work different from MRT. You have to read the sign in front. If it says 上車收票, then you would pay as you get on the bus. But you don't pay when you get off. If the sign says 下車收票, then you pay when you get off the bus and you don't pay when you get on the bus. You don't pay both unless you wanna pay double the fare. There are little to no English signs on the buses, so it's not recommended for people who can't understand chinese to ride the buses.
