Hi Timmy! My name is Boo, and I am a cat. While you and your kind may be known as man's best friend, my owner always tells me I am better than a dog. The reason is that my deep, rumbly purr is very relaxing. Many a night, when I curl up with my owner, my purring quickly helps him relax and go to sleep. My owner wondered if maybe your owner could do another in his small town shop series about a pet store. The pet store would have an "interaction" room where prospective owners could interact with a potential pet to see if they would be a good match. This room would have a well-loved sofa or chair, so that it would seem a little more like home, and thus cozy. After interacting with a number of pets (dogs, a hamster, a gerbil, a rabbit, etc.) the prospective owner gets to the good stuff - cats! It takes only one cat for the prospective owner to realize this is exactly the right pet. The cat sits in the lap of the prospective owner and the purring begins. Within moments, the prospective owner is lulled into a "cat" nap and the two have a duet - purring and a gentle snore. This duet might be a great ending sound track. Best! Boo

Unfortunately last night I got no sleep whatsoever, not even an hour. I've had a lot on my mind and last night was it for me and it ruined my sleep. So I've gone 24 hrs without sleep. I'm finally starting to feel extremely sleepy, so I'm excited to hear thus story and I hopefully fall asleep 😊❤ thank you for all of these loving stories

I was the same last night, actually, so much ruminating, from topic to topic. I listened to 2 of my favourite stories of Stephen's and 3 long meditations.. and then it was morning! I feel for you! So I am in bed now, finally hoping to sleep at 9 pm in Australia. I hope you are feeling more relaxed and I also hope that you sleep deeply tonight 😊

Okay... this one's going to be tough... I lost my best friend, my Standard Poodle Phineas 2 weeks ago.... Phin used to lay in bed with me and listen to your sleep stories with me. I say this because he chose not to get out of bed and leave the room. It became our nightly routine, one that I'm going to miss tremendously. I know how much you love your dog Timmy ~ please give him a hug for me. 💞

My two dogs, Essie and Rainey, will be 11 years old tomorrow. They are my world.

When I was a child my mom gifted me a wood carving that read “a dog is the only creature in warmth that loves you more than they love themselves” That always stayed with me. Loved your story. I’ve a bad cold and couldn’t sleep. This relaxes me so much when I came across it at 2 am and slept 2 cycles. 🙏

I adopted my dog Taco from our local animal shelter. He is a chihuahua mix. About 7 years old. Older dog but we r making his last 4- 6 years ( hopefully more) better for him. ❤❤❤❤❤

My lovely dog is 13, and I am trying to enjoy his company while I still can. I can't imagine my life without him. He will hold a special place in my heart forever! Thank you for your great work.

Hi! I feel the exact same way. My Yorkshire Terrier dog Benny has been my best friend since I was 12, and he's almost 13, but lately, his health hasn't been the best, and I know he'll be gone soon but I'm trying to live in the moment and spend every moment I have with him❤

I have 2 wonderful dogs now, 3 cats , and 2 horses that are mine and a I take care of my neighbors old horse too because she is 86 and can’t anymore. They are all on my property of 1 and one half acre. They all keep me going and motivated along with my grandson since my daughter passed last May! Love them all , still ride my horses when the weather stops raining! 🌧️ am 78 now , they keep me physically fit! Love ❤️ from California again!

Stephen, it's morning here in Oz, so I'm not going to sleep yet.... When we were kids, my Dad used to sing us a song called The Isle of Innisfree......which is an island, part of Ireland, where people visit, but no-one lives. I came across my piano music for this song recently, the lyrics and score are haunting and beautiful. I would love to hear a story about this place, where the poet Yeats is said to have spent a good deal of time and written a poem called The Lake Isle of Innisfree....

Magic, my sweet puppy girl, is turning 5 in two days! She's a brindle mix with 19 different breeds. We cuddle up in bed at night and listen to your stories together. She will frequently react to sound effects during the videos so I know she's listening too!

I ask penny every night if she wants a story, after we climb into bed. She looks at my phone and then me and cuddles in tight.

This story reminded me of all the beautiful times I had with my two little dogs, who sadly passed away a couple of years ago. I still miss them immensely, and I just wanted to thank you for helping me keep their memories alive ❤

Me too. His name was "Little Dude" . He passed over 5 years ago, but walks with me always and will remain deep in my heart forever. He lived a long, wonderful life and we shared many happy memorable years together. May you rest in peace, my Little Dude.❤❤

I absolutely love this. I walk Charlie (my 12 yr old black lab) in the forest behind my cottage a couple of times a week, and it's my absolute favourite thing in the world ❤. That picture looks like you and Timmy from that one video you guys did while walking in the snow. I love these real life stories the most. You should do a series of Walks with Timmy. I often wonder what my dog, Toto, thinks as well. He is very intelligent, he knows when you’re not feeling well intuitively and he will come up and comfort you. As you said animals are so pure and full of love. When the world is cold, they will always be there for you 🤍

I love this story

Love the short video intro with Timmy. Also your settle countdown. Its simply wonderful. The story is universal about the dogs in our lives. Bradford is a dog i will never forget. Although he was not mine. I got to know him when he was an old man and not well. I had him at my home over the Christmas holiday so his dad could go visit with family. On Christmas Eve when it was time to turn in, my two boys decided to sleep in sleeping bags on the floor so as to keep an eye on old Bradford. At one point, i felt a cold wet nose. Amazingly, Bradford came upstairs to wake me to let him out. Bradford could hardly walk, let alone climb stairs! I miss that good ol boy. I was there when the good vet sent him to the other side. RIP Bradford.

What a wonderful story, creating a calm and peaceful atmosphere while telling a sleepy rain story about a beloved pet. I love dogs and sleep stories including rain sounds and am hoping for more of those. I saved this one in my playlist for nights when other stories don’t quite get me to falling asleep. Both of Hope’s stories are also in that playlist. All three are great as they create a sleepy atmosphere rather than share information. Thank you very much!

My rescue dog is called Marley and he's 21months old. I was fostering dogs for a charity when I first met him. I fostered him for a while and then adopted him. She was 14, and her health had been declining for a long time, so we probably held on longer than we should have, since the thought of no longer having her in our lives was just too difficult. It has gorgeous colors 🌈 from all the flowers 🌸, nature 🍃 (especially an enchanted✨Willow Tree), fairies 🧚🏻‍♀️, and a crystal clear blue waterfall 💦 with pool, where we can swim with dolphins🐬 and mermaids 🧜🏻‍♀️ and breathe under water. We can fly with the birds and dragons 🐉, too! The nature there magically✨interacts with us and everything there is absolutely PERFECT!
