Walking in VENICE / Italy - San Marco and Rialto - 4K 60fps (UHD)

The famous Piazza San Marco in Venice is our starting point for this walk during the carnaval. We quickly check some costume show first and walk across the plaza entering the side streets.
Exploring Venice we eventually go to the beautiful Rialto bridge and walk around the canals there before we return to San Marco Plaza.
Filmed in February 2019
Camera: Osmo Pocket in 4K60
Mic: Zoom H1

I was in Venice with some friends couple years ago for The New Year. It was Venice in white they called it, i think. Wonderfull city and it was very cold! Brrr. But the Venice is worth of visiting. Love the video 👍

Thank you. Indeed there are a few videos of Venice on the channel and 1-2 more coming from that trip in winter. A good way to find places is also using "poptravel Venice" in search or checking the Italy playlist

Hi, I enjoy your video. I just bought Osmo Pocket last week and still learning to use it. What is your gimbal setting for this video? Is it FPV or fixed tilt? What is the video setting? Normal or cinematic effect?

I use slow follow, AF-S, 4K60p with normal color. I'm not so happy with the stepping when panning while walking and thought about getting a Z-axis stabilizer yet that would be too bulky in the end. I don't use the cinematic color profile and also disable noise reduction. AF-S for single autofocus is also better for these walks. For night footage the cinematic profile may be useful with a separate noise reduction plugin but editing 4K60 is a massive struggle for any PC still. I also use a powerbank and external mic in a small rig to keep filming for long. It's a one hand system as I take photos with the right hand at the same time. :-)

Hi! what kind of equipment is used for the walking tour? Tripod and just holding? or something on the head? Would love to do these for the next few trips coming up!

It's a little one-hand rig. It is comfortable , perspective a little low and mic a bit too close to my breathing though that may change soon. I'm using a DJI Osmo Pocket and a Zoom H1 microphone for the audio. The audio is optimised and synced before upload with the video. Both devices are connected to a power bank for long filming. In case audio comes from the Osmo Pocket it is noted in the video description
