Hi Daniel! Loved all the costumes and masks during this walk. Plus the Marching Drummers. Thank you for the Fast clip (instead of editing and deleting it out, like so many others do) 5:09 - 5:29 7:40 Loved the music in this area. Used iPhone app *Shazam* to help me find songs title and artists. Some were from: 7:40 *Handel 12 concerti grossi op.6* , *Water Music* , HWV 348-350 VII. AIR by *New York Philharmonic* and 1. *Allegro Molto* by *Venice Baroque Orchestra* with Andrea Marcon. 9:19 Wow, Pigeons taking food right of the hand of this man! 11:01 A Pose for You! She reminds me of Queen Elizabeth. 21:55 One of the many beautiful views you captured! Plus at 23:31 . 31:02 Seagull with a cup. he got camera shy and dropped it. 32:35 Police on Canal (they are in a hurry) I would love to be in their boat during this chase! Just like being there. Carnival 2019 was great. 2018, I did a liveaboard there on a sailboat. Thanks! For a most atmospheric experience walk through the sea mist in Venice at 4 AM. Stunning.

@@horseplop9 Venice was flooded, but it's not "gone". It's very much alive. It often floods in November, although not as bad as it did last year. That was exceptional.

Thank you! I'll see what works out in summer. I have some plans for May / June yet Denmark would fit better in with northern Germany. I'd like to go more to the Baltics again which is a bit further east. A short trip just to Copenhagen could happen with another direction. I'll see later. Thanks for watching!

Now I see that Venice is suffering from overtourism

I Am Venitian...and the Carnival starts only tomorrow the 9th of February...something this evening. It is always full of tourists and masks can be seen and sold all year around. Please dont say during the Carnival Because when you have filmed it wasnt already Started.

The video is actually from 2019 as noted at more the end of the description. I'm often posting videos from trips over a longer period for a better mix rather than in a row. This video was recorded on the same day as the "Flight of the Angel" which is surely the busiest on San Marco Square and start of Carnival. Thanks for watching and sorry about the confusion. Next year I may post one more video of Venice carnival from that trip last year - around the start of the Carnival again. Edit: more explanations
