You join us this week as we take on another short walk from the Collins Short Walks in The Peak District.
This walk is beautiful and full of everything we like; wonderful views, rivers, hills and of course a rather nice cafe at the end!
Join us as we actually manage to not get lost on this circular walk!

Mrs. B stuck in the mud in the outtakes! Should have opened with that! Fantastic! 🤣
waa waa wee woo (as Borat would say) This walk is one of the very best. You both are such troopers and Mr. B your photographic eye/ framing is getting quite artistic if i do say - well done you. This walk is so lush, the panoramas jaw droppingly gorgeous brilliant and transporting. Please do this one each season. The dappled light stone walls and pathways just exceptional. Yay for the National Trust ! It does look challenging. You both are so funny. Love Mrs B side eye.. She's gonna manage you in a minute Mr. B. The volume is brilliant no worries and thank you for bringing us along. Stay well!
You're not kidding any of us, Mr.B. You're not that much out of shape. You're just normal. An awful lot of us would be hot and sweaty following Mrs. B.up a hill. That's one formidable vista. Seriously, though, that was a particularly lovely walk by the look of it, despite the mud. And yes, lighting is everything.
Great walking with you, that is a steep hill. Thank you for the nice sheep footage, such sweet and fluffy sheep.
Another great vlog, thanks Mr and Mrs B. We look forward to watching them.
What a beautiful place this is. Bet you were glad to be wearing your wellies. All best.
Honest good fun. I so enjoyed this walk.
What a fab walk. Will definitely be checking this one out in the near future. I think Miss Millie will enjoy this also in a few months. I’m definitely going to check this book out also. The tea rooms looks wonderful. Thanks Wendy & Darren. See you both soon..🥰💕
Lovely vlog, enjoyed going on your walk, beautiful scenery, thought you were going to get stuck in the mud Mrs B, great pic catching the light of the sun Mr B, I took a similar pic of the World Trade Centre in New York, see you both next week, Barbara & Trevor
Hi both loved the video. Make me feel tired watching you two. Mrs B be careful around the mud half expected you to get welly’s stuck !!! The views were great. Have good week.
its a good job you both had ur wellies on. Lovely video it was xx
Great vlog both, love catching up with your antics, it helps keep me sane as you know. That walk back along the river looked pretty hardcore, glad you are both still in one piece! 😆 Take care both x
You are right, Ilam is gorgeous in the Autumn. There is a National Trust camp site there, which we stayed at in our campervan. It is also a great place to base yourself for walking to and exploring Dovedale.
Wonderful video!!
Evening all! Hope everyone is well and you enjoy the vlog, see you next week folks. Mr & Mrs B xx
Mashed potato hill? I dunno but Masham is a bit further north in Yorkshire!! Thanks for my 'no effort' Sunday walk again. Loved the countryside and thank you for the recommendations of photography channels!
A bit boggy in parts of your Ilam walk, luckily you didn’t get stuck in the mud Mrs B. Those mole hills are everywhere on your walk. Won’t be long and it will be your spring and our autumn here in New Zealand.
The compacted ground on the footpath is to hard for the mole to dig through, so when he comes across this hard area he can only go left and right thus greeting a line of hills parallel to the path.
What a beautiful if not somewhat challenging walk/clime today. I totally agree with the movie reference of the mountain. Can you recreate it with your paella?
Another fun Sunday walking with you. I believe you caught a shot of Benny Hill at the Manifold Tea Room???
Another great walk guys, I just love some of these walks. Peak District is very pretty. I hate seafood too, Henri’s wrapped that I do as he says it’s all the more for him. I hate it so much, can’t stand the smell when he’s cooking it. Yuck. That hill is like walking up Salisbury Hill, very long and steep but worth it when you get to the top and see the burial mounds, we even bumped into some Druids, never hear of Druids in Australia though I guess we have them. I really need to sort out my Instagram Mrs B, I know nothing about it. Thanks heaps and take care. 💕
I was just reading a post from Foxes, terrible storms over there. I was doing an art lesson tonight with Annamarie Uren and Kath, remember their narrowboat vlogs. Their in Wales at the moment and before starting the lesson Annamarie said we may lose her as the storm is so fierce. I just googled it, Storm Eunice red alerts everywhere, worst storm in 30 years. Are you guys alright? I know you have the protection of the marina but flooding seems to be a problem. So hope all is well and that you’re safe. Please take care. 💕
Super vlog thank you. How do you film both of you walking away from the camera?
If you like those photography guys give Adam Gibbs a go. Personally for me he's Thomas Heaton without the whine ;)
👍
Can hear you this week…….you must be using an android phone. !!! Lol
