Walking from United States to Canada Niagara Falls

Ойын-сауық

Niagara Falls is one of the world's most well-known group of waterfalls. Formed by the Niagara River, draining Lake Erie into Lake Ontario, the falls are truly a sight to behold. The falls span the international border between the countries of the United States and Canada. The Horseshoe Falls is the largest and straddles the international border. The American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls are located entirely within the United States. In this video, I walk from the United States to Canada and explore many of the best vantage points from both sides of the border.

I am Canadian, and lived in the Falls for school, gr 11, gr 12 and Uni. I worked at the Hard Rock Cafe, and the Floral Clock for summer job. Clifton Hill was so crowded in the summer with tourists lol. I love our Canadian Horseshoe falls 🍁🇨🇦, I have walked across the border and driven across to the States side too. Also just some FYI, the States wanted to buy our Canadian Horseshoe Falls for a 1 million dollars at one point long time ago. Obviously we said no. Canadian side is very built up beautifully and successful tourist area with many amenities and beautiful places to see. Niagara on the Lake, charming little town, wine country. 🍷 just 40 min drive away. Southern Ontario wine, you must try! 😋 Canadian side is alot of fun! Lol. Thank you so much for the video. I hope you had fun! Cheers 🍁

This is an EPIC extensive coverage of the Niagara Falls on the US side! 🤩 There's so much more to see than just the falls, and the Niagara Falls State Park is a giant hidden gem with gorgeous natural sceneries! 😍 It must have been exciting for you to be in both countries at the International Boundry Line. 😁 It was also a treat to see the Nikola Tesla statues from both countries. Thank you for sharing this beautiful walk through Niagara Falls, AK! 🤗 PS, it was fun but tough to spot you during Johnny's stream. 😆

My son went to school for 10yrs in Ottawa Canada. Every time I’d ask where do the poor people live? The place is so clean , no trash in the street, no shoes inside the house, the yards are so beautiful and walking downtown gives you a feeling like you’re in Paris with all the French speaking. It just looks different. I like the way the American side looks. Very proud to see that.🇺🇸❤️

The mist from the falls I'm sure would feel great, during those 90 degree days in the summer. I hope to get there sometime, maybe next year, it looks so fun and beautiful there🙂 I'm glad that you are enjoying your trip to Canada, Thank You Very Much for making this fun and informative video👍🙂

I run/walk the Niagara Falls Marathon every year & it ends right at the Skylon Tower on the Canadian side. It’s a beautiful course & the medal has both the US & Canadian flags on it. The tourist traffic on the Canadian side is definitely more built up, but that’s also because Toronto is so much closer. If NYC was an hour from Niagara Falls NY I’m sure it’d be the same. I’m hoping it improves but I guess we’ll see.

Good video. I go to Niagara Falls Canada every Saturday and been there 45 times. I walked over from Canada to US on July 16, 2011 and I have a video on my youtube. Your video showed me places that I didn't visit back then in 2011. Hope you had a chance to go to the Power Station to see the tunnel. Also, I highly recommend you buy a pass that allows for the day visit and night show to Currents. I have some videos on my Instagram account. Also, if you bring your bike then you can bike from Niagara to Niagara-on-the-Lake just like I did on my bucket list trip on July 9 and 10, 2022. Biked 78 kms for two days and loved it. Yes, I need to do a video for that adventure soon.

The Tunnel is the newest attraction on the Canadian side. You take an elevator 200 feet underground and then walk 2200 feet through a massive tunnel to the viewing area which is located adjacent to Horseshoe Falls. It is an amazing vantage point to see / experience all 3 Falls. It was awesome.

Loved your video. Most informative video I have watched on KZread for Niagara Falls. I need to ask you a very special favor: I am flying from overseas into JFK New York. I want to visit the Canadian side of Niagara Falls and stay a few nights there and then walk over to US side and then visit Ithaca where my son is studying. I just cannot understand how to connect myself from New York to the Canadian side of Niagara Falls as the only option it shows is to fly into Toronto which is again eating into the travel time. What is the best way to save time to arrive at the Canadian side from New York direct and then enter USA side of Niagara Falls. Could you guide m please….🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Such an interesting video for me. I had never been to the US side and it's much more interesting than I imagined. I also noted a little sign as you got on the rainbow bridge that said the dollar pedestrian fee is payable upon return to the US. How did you get over to the US side from Canada?

Love your video of the falls. I agree with you on the beauty of the American side and the naturalness. Common comment and you did not fall in trap... The Canadian side is... BETTER. Basically they are BOTH beautiful.... Depends on how you see things. Funny how hype sells.

I thought you have to show a passport or paper in order to cross the border.
