Let's make it clear - Google FB YT etc are not blocked in China. These operators refused to adhere to China's laws and regulations, so they decided not to operate in China. Imagine if you refused to follow US's laws, will they allow you in ? You mentioned one of the problem is not many peoples in China speak English! You forget you are in China, the actual problem is that you don't speak Chinese.

Can’t agree more.Every nation has her own language, why China’s people are supposed to speak English. This is typical colonialism.

    中国有自己的互联网核心应用,所以不会被美国控制,不过这对于初次来中国的旅客是个麻烦,中国政府已经在改善旅游体验了,希望你能尽快适应,不妨碍体验中国。

You don't interact with the people now do you? China isn't about how impressive the buildings get, it's about the people that makes China from what it was to what it is. To that extend no one can deny the government's importance, for better or worse. Personally whenever I visit China, I feel a lot safer and more comfortable than most places on this planet, while knowing perfectly well the trade off in giving up certain amount of freedom and choices. Frankly I'm not a huge fan of undisciplined freedom, and definitely not a fan of Western politics and manipulation. China in the 90s? No thanks. China of today and beyond? Hell yes.

I was watching Dark Matter Season 1 recently. There was a scene in which the heroine traveled to a city of her dreams and chose to stay and live there. If you have been to Shanghai, you will find that the future city in European dreams has long been It already exists in this world, that is Shanghai. Chinese people live in the future.

I went to indja capital city of New Delhi. I can't even walk from 15 minutes without someone following me. My first time in New Delhi, the hotel recommended me this place Connaught Place. So I went there. The moment I got out of my taxi, I was followed by touting people wanted me to follow him for shopping. Another man his hands was holding like 10 or more sunglasses trying to sell to me. 2 kids beggars keep asking for money. For at least 30 minutes they following me till I entered into a restaurant. But the kids beggars are still waiting for me outside the restaurant. Yet, the people that I have dealt with keep telling me indja is already a super power nation.

    1. You need a working VPN to be connected to Google Maps etc. 2. You need to book time to get into Tiananmen Square, and perhaps there are other places in China where you need to book times as well, so check them online before going there. 3. If you meet me, I can speak English and help you, but right now I am not in China yet. 4. This is Wangfujing Pedestrian Street, one of the most famous commercial streets in China. This street used to be packed, but no more, due partially to the growing popularity of online shopping.

I don’t know which country you are from. If you are from the US, with all the main cellphone carriers, you will automatically have internet access soon as you land. T-Mobile is giving me internet access during my stay in China, including access to Google everything without VPN.

Because you are on data roaming, which means all of your internet traffic is going through T-mobile's network, which can surely access those blocked social media.

There are many Chinese central government agencies scattered around Tiananmen Square, and Xi Jinping and others also have their offices there, which is basically similar to the White House in the United States, so there are strict security measures. The Forbidden City is an ancient Chinese royal palace and a well-preserved ancient cultural relic. You need to make an appointment in advance to enter. I hope you have the opportunity to visit it. Thank you for your video

There are a few reasons why western countries the governments don't want their citizens to visit China. 1st to see all the Chinese super infrastructures. 2nd how China is able to keep the public areas so clean, green and organized. 3th why China is so safe even for foreigners. 4th. How Chinese education system is able to educate the people with such huge population to be so disciplined. If those western countries people visit China and see all these, they will realize how useless and incompetent their governments are compared to the Chinese government. With so much taxes they're paying, yet their useless governments are not able to provide them the same infrastructures, cleanliness and safety to the people. That is why their governments and government controlled media keep lying to them about how bad China is. How undeveloped China is and advises the people not to visit China. The governments do not want the people to see the real China and compare.
