Close Railfans Quebec. It was an ES44DC. I think I only handled about a dozen AC units, and only had one ET which was a DP unit 6000' back on my train.

Awesome shot! Nothing better than passing a train on the Yellowhead. :) That is, assuming it wasn't blocking anything in the yard. :P

13100 HP divided by 7616 tons equals 1.72 HP per ton.

True, but isolated/dead units become train tonnage with 0HP. 8700HP divided by 7800 tons equals 1.1hpt. Most situations like this are the fuel desk restricting what you are allowed to use.
