TCH is different in how it’s not a self-centred story but a story about different individuals who have lost their home and have gone through suffering finally finds their place beside Cale. Cale helps everyone achieve their happy ending and revenges, and makes sure they go on the right path.

What tore me up was Cale holding the piggy bank and nearly falling apart.

Intentional or not, it’s true that Cale brought all these together, helped them overcome their loneliness and in one way or another helped them grow. Their feelings toward Cale... he just doesn’t realize how much he really means to them, if it weren’t for him how many would be dead, broken or still alone wandering in the darkness.

the best manhwa ever, no romance, only focusing on character development and friendships with a group of perfectly imperfect individuals 💯 Cale is a self-centred person who only protects himself but he never hesitates to bring along those people in need into his boulder like shell, he is the reincarnation of the henituse golden turtle

I also love that there was no romance. SO MANY novels and movies have a forced romantic sub-plot, when it could have been perfectly fine to just skip it altogether. The only ship I am interested is Cale/Slacker Life... and of course, Cale/Money 😂

I always amazed by the henituse philosophy. I never see any noble house like them in any media that just minding their own business and protecting what their so fiercely, avoiding the recognition to the history and just living their live peacefully. What an admirable family

I haven't finished TCF yet but I'm really close, my favourite part so far has been when Cale was in Caro Kingdom to sell the objects he got from the old Pope of the sun god and he went on that shopping spree for weapons etc for his people when it started as trying to buy toys for his children 'He picked out all of the highest grade weapons' '"He looks angry right" "Yeah, he does" "He looks like that whenever he does something for other people, but he's meticulous to make sure that its perfect for that person" "He's really easy to read like this"' 'They all noticed that the only he thing he bought for himself was a chicken skewer' I mean I know its not gonna be the best part of the book but I'd like to draw attention to it because no one talks about it and I think that it perfectly describes Cale and his attitude to making sure that everyone gets the best possible treatment and to show that while he cares about money, Cale only wants the simple pleasures in life for himself and for everyone he, begrudgingly, cares for. I also like when Cale beats up that crown for trying to eat Raon's blood :D protective dad alert lmao

I also like how in the war by the Gorge of Death he's constantly saying that Lock is too thin and that he's taken these children in and that he's responsible for them as an alternative for saying that he cares and how he just really showed his 'Mama bear' mode with Raon sick from his 1st growth phase and Lock being unable to defend himself properly and then getting mad at Lock for shielding him when he was pretty much passed out Father Cale is best Cale, 2nd is scheming Cale and is improved when he's back to back with scheming Alberu :)

I really like the misunderstandings between Cale's intentions and how the other perceive him and how it's later revealed that he actually does have good intentions (in sort of a tsundere way haha). My favorite character would be Raon because he's just really adorable and I just love his determination to protect his found family (always gotta love the found family trope!).

@@randomopotato its hard to really pick a favorite, i love them all but Alberu especially in like the recent arcs has been growing on me bc we love good character development and also his drive. I love everyone tho especially since the author took the time to give everyone their moments and back stories in pieces like, it's just so good TvT. Favorite parts have to be separated by characters fam. for the Molans, my fav part was what was here, them running from home then coming back to it and their internal dialogues of looking at each other's backs and Beacrox picking up the great sword rather than the dagger. Alberu is probably the conversation he had with cale down under as well as that specific moment where he realized he can give the dark elves a home outside. i can state so many parts but words are hard and i'd be writing a whole essay here xD. but yeah. i love tcf fam, its so good

@@HeartSelect That's really true!!! The author put so much effort into developing the characters and their own stories!!! Yes, Alberu's story is also really really really good. His love for his people (the dark elves) and how he strives to stop the prejudice that everyone has against them is amazing. Also his trust in Cale and how Cale's opinion of him matters? Just really warms you up (remember the prophecy in the library? He was so scared and it was also overall funny how they had a misunderstanding for a moment haha). Ooo yes the Molan's are also really nice. The little tidbits on their backstory and Beacrox's mom? It really just makes his choice of the greatsword more impactful. The trash of the count's family has so many arcs and so much going on that it would really be hard to talk about it all haha. You're right, we'd end up making a whole essay about it XD. Also the reveal of Cale's past? Man, that was a tearjerker.

I'm still at the part where Raon discovers that he will not have his growth phase yet and Cale tells him that what's greater is to survive. This animation is amazing! I’ve literally watched it so many times that it consistently shows up on the side bar and I keep accidentally playing it. But it’s just so good that I can’t help but watch it through to the end.

I'll admit i tried not to cry (the piggy bank...!) but failed spectacularly at the end when Cale pat Raon head and then Raon fly high with them, i remember that chapter TT This is so beautiful?! Thank you so much for making it!! (also for the song choice, good recommendation, catchy and the lyrics fits cale so muchh!! ill add it to my playlist!

thank you for witnessing my emo and love for these cast YvY. they deserve the world and all the content (im deprived pls). i actually wanted to fit more characters like bud, toonka, half dragon, local vampire man and all that but there's jsut so many but i'll eventually get there |｀･ω･ )9

Just wanted to say I love the character designs. We don't have official designs for so many characters but they are all very recognizable and make a great story board. I've watched it several dozen times and I'm really just finding new things to love.

Ну вроде в последних главах (и вообще от середины) он перестал назывпть себя плохим. Но вот то, что ему не нравятся как его клитчут "Господином Серебренным Щитом" не изменилось)) А так то да, это прекрасно.
