Walk The Talk: This week we travel to outskirts of Hyderabad to interview His Highness The Aga Khan, spiritual leader of the Ismaili Community and Founder and Chairman of The Aga Khan Development Network. He speaks about how he bridges the east and the west and brings different communities together. He says that the modern world suffers from ignorance rather than civilization. He also speaks about how his academy is devoid of caste, religion and sect. And about how his life changed after the World Trade Centre plane crash in 2001. He also talks about the turmoil in Egypt, Syria and Pakistan and how he disagrees that the angriest Muslims are in Pakistan and sends a message to its leaders and the Shias and Sunnis.

He was a founding member of the Muslim league. Today, many Ismailis in India and abroad profess their love for India. I just want to ask them if they are ashamed of the decision by Aga Khan III to support the foundation of Pakistan.

Hi Jamatkhana khana is not a mosque please refrain from such statements, mosques are open for all whereas jamatkhana closes its doors and do its god business activities. Agakhanism is not related to Islam at all, Agakhan is neither a descendant of prophet Mohammed nor anyway related to hz Ali, it has been proved time and again by many scholars, He never receives any revelation or dream from the Almighty Allah, to guide his innocent followers He wrongly interprets Quran in favor of his mischievous and devilish activities. It is my humble request to the innocent followers to refer the original text Quran and decide whether to continue to pump in blindly your hard earned money which your children deserve. I know a lot of Shia are upset Ali Ibn Abi Talib was not the immediate successor of the prophet SAW. However think about it like this, do you believe the prophet would have advocated passing authority from father to son? Allah SWT gave Abu Bakr the throne to show people that nepotism is un-Islamic. Do you also believe the prophet would prefer to see a descendant of Ali rich but not a descendant of a faithful slave?

"Allah gave abu bakr the throne" - this statement is incorrect according to sunni thought itself and of course according to histroy quran and hadith. According to sunni believe khilafah is the public institution, i.e people will decide their khalifa after prophet and so abu bakr was elected in the ground of sakhifa by some rich arabs. So clearly Allah has not given him the authority. Now the question, what is allah's plan? answer just like soleman was descendant of Daud ( as) hazrat isa as descendant of imran, hazrat haroon as descendant of hazrat moosa. Hazrat ali is declared descendant of prophet mohammad ( pbuh). just like bani israel rejected haroon as descendant of moosa and gathered in the ground and selected a gold calf as their caliph, muslims did the same and choose abu bakr as caliph.

@@dailydoseofexistence7159 hazrat ali never did Bayat of abu Bakr. It is well known history and because of the same reason bagh e fidaq was captured by Umar nd Abu Bakr. If u think, I m wrong just read about bagh e fidq by yourself and tell me who was correct, Janab e Fatima or Abu Bakr.

What people do is not the true teaching, just like every other muslim's doing is not exactly Allah has asked us to have. When you want to understand a religious teaching, go to the teacher, not the students.

Tum logic jo place kiye ho wo itself good logic hai aur hum bhi tang hai ndtv se, aur iyhi reporter the print channel me aapni chizo ko make up maar rahe hai. Anyway, lekin Aga Khan factually ek special case of the world hai, emotions ki bhi baat nahi hai, thora padlo jaake, samajh jaoge k iye logic jitna bhi strong ho yaha irrelevant hai.

Because he is this spiritual leader of a religion call Shia Ismaili Muslim. He is like a God for the Shia Ismaili Muslim so for the respect people say him his the highness Prince Aga Khan. And in India they are many people who are Shia Ismaili Muslim. We know how diverse India is there are many religion in India we should respect all the religion. Thanks..
