Kelcey: "Steven, What made you thrive tonight on the offensive boards?" Steven: "We sucked at shooting, we kept missing shots so I went and got them." That self-deprecating humor and grit and grind attitude has won the hearts of Memphis...Never change Stevo, legend!

Hilarious. Look guys start nailing your shots. Otherwise I will be forced to grab rebounds. Something I would prefer not to do.

This dude is so underrated. He is a big reason why many of the guys in his team shine.

He should start playing at low-post back to the rim sometimes like Shaq did. He can score more points using his power.

@@romank.5261 I understand what u mean. the problem is that the rebound power of the grizzlies just falls dramatically down when he is not there, we have witnessed that in the Playoffs last season, his roll at the moment cant be sustituted. What the grizzlies need is a consistant scorer near ja, Bane did it well for a couple of Games then got injured which added more roles to brooks who has his hands full already.

@@romank.5261 yeah he has the skills but overpowered defenders are gonna foul him everytime and a 32% FT is pretty bad. If he had 60%+ FT I would say go for it.

@@romank.5261 He could do that but that's not his role... Also post-ups are more and more rare these days, analytics wise it's inefficient unless you are dominant like Zion or Giannis etc. Look at Sabonis... On/off numbers are similar to Jokic and the Kings are one of the best with him and one of the worst without him. He's one of the most efficient players, but it's not about him posting up more. These quicker bigs are an asset in the NBA today, because the screens/handoffs are more valuable than sticking them in the post. (ie: Draymond on the warriors). Just need enough shooters and it's a winning formula
