Very nice! I love the intro. I met Richard Williams at his Masterclass in San Fran back in the 90s. We hung out with him at a pub after the last day. He was just like one of the gang! Thanks for your hard work on these.He would have loved your videos.

I wish you showed us how to move the rig along a 3/4 path. I guess that would be a bit more complicated because it has to show the character getting a bit bigger as he moves towards the camera. Other than that, awesome vid as always.

I'll make sure to show it in a future video, wanted to keep it under 30 mins. It would involve adjusting the leg deformers to account for foreshortening. You'd only have to worry about the scaling after the walk cycle is done, which you could do on the path peg and match his size to the start of the start of the path and then the end. Thanks for the feedback.
Insanly good video like every time. Probably the best of the series. Although i had the same thoughts as @ragingpoop8658!

Hello, when selecting PEG, how to quickly select parent PEG? Are there shortcuts?

Hi, how would you change the scale of the whole rig? Because everytime I do it, the legs scale differently than everything else of the rig and it looks weird.
@DrawnSean

Make sure the legs are connected to the master peg and I would use a scale oef above the master peg to scale it. The legs should move with it no problem then. Just make sure theres no scale animation on legs and its all on the scale peg.

@DrawnSean So the legs are connected to the master peg and I tried to move the rig with the master peg and also with an scale peg above the master peg but it still wont work as intended😕. With scale animation you mean like an animation in the timeline, right? If yes, then I dont have any animation. I'm also pretty sure it has something to do with the constraints and limits of the legs because they are responsible for the movements of the legs when you move the upper body (like you showed in the 12th part of this tutorial series) but the weird thing is that only scaling the whole rig (either on master or scale peg) affects the legs in that way but not if i move the whole rig. Do you maybe have an idea to why that may happen? Sorry if my questions sound stupid but I'm not that experienced with Harmony and I'm still trying to improve myself. Btw thanks for those great videos! They got me into rigging in the first place👍👍

@@michealtrevors4985 hmm not quite sure without seeing it. I dont really use constraints so that might have something to do with it. Try removing the constraints and see what happens.
@michealtrevors4985

@@DrawnSean Ok I just found out that its not the constraints but both the hip and knee limits which seem to be responsible for that scaling issue, because if I remove the limits, the leg seems fine and scale as it should. The problem is that if I wont keep the limits, then the legs wont move as intended when moving the upper body only. I could send a link of a photo if that could help. But thanks so far!

@@michealtrevors4985 glad you figured it out! Ye I don't really touch limits or conatraints.
I just can't understand why do we need so much controllers for neck head and on top of that some more. It's really hard to figure out what to do with them
@DrawnSean

Not sure what you mean. You don't need any of this. It's just to make life a lot easier when posing while animating.

@@DrawnSean thanks for your reply and time. I accidentally wrote "controllers" but I meant pegs. I'm following the tutorial rn and what's confusing is that I can't understand when to edit like head peg in timeline or when to edit shoulders can't I just do them all in the Sonnie_Master peg? 🥹
@DrawnSean

@@aloha1783Oh yeah, just saw what video you're commenting on. I wouldn't think too much about it. Generally you can keep the master peg collapsed in the timeline view and in the camera view select whatever pegs you need to get the pose done. Try and start with the upper most peg then go up and down with B/Shift + B. All those pegs are there for ease of use. You want to move the head and neck together? Use that peg, you want to then just move the head? Move the head beg. etc. Also my next videos will be me fully animating a scene so that will help.
