    Hey man, that's a sweet looking rig! Quick question, hopefully getting one of these myself in the coming weeks (120, LC3) and I really like the look of your ARB bar. However it seems to be a grey area as to whether they are legal or not. Have you had any issues with the legality of your bar?

  • @chappelle121

    @chappelle121

    Depends where you are, here in Perth Western Australia there are definitely no issues, a very common early mod for most 4x4 owners here. Most 4x4's here have bull bars here. You will need to check with your local authority on local laws and regulations.

    Mate… that’s a setup to be very proud of ! 👌🏻 Maybe a dumb question but have you done something to make your kings air compressor stop when it pressures up ? I have one but I don’t think it stops like that at a high pressure. Maybe it does 🤷‍♂️

  • @chappelle121

    @chappelle121

    2 ай бұрын

    If its a kings thumper max dual compressor, it should have an inbuilt pressure switch, you don't have to do anything it just cuts out when it reaches a certain pressure, which if your trigger is closed and it's not leaking anywhere it should reach that pressure very quickly and just cut out until you open the trigger or whatever again which will turn it back on.

    Hey bro, first of all have to say great job bro.... tidy, clean, functional, just great mods.... secondly how you 2nd battery setup goes? Nice job!....

  • @chappelle121

    @chappelle121

    5 жыл бұрын

    Yeah you see that a fair bit, AGM's ideally should not be in the engine bay, however for me I didn't have another good place to put it, but it is working just fine... I run my lights, fridge, charging phones etc... while camping and in the morning the voltage is still like 12.6V so plenty of juice by morning. the DC DC charger I use gives it a nice full charge and its temperature compensated - it has a temperature probe to help it charge efficiently so if its hot it wont pump so much current into it I guess. (its a Projecta Inteli-carge) On the Prado the battery is right behind the headlight too so I don't think it gets that hot, there's probably some decent airflow there.
