In my humble ^^ opinion, I do think our inside emotions and feelings are the ones that brings us to think an feel that the weather is depressive. It needs a change of mind sometimes a change in our life (healings) (it’s not natural, it’s a choice) to feel good inside. The weather should not define our days (many days are stolen from our life because of that fact, and life is short. It’s depends only of us to give it a touch of ‘’cosyness’’ ^^ Lylo

If Switzerland wasn't such a brutally expensive place to visit more people would know how attractive a lot of the cities are. Of course they have the highest per capita income in the world so it is the polar opposite of visiting Poland or the Czech Republic where the local people earn a pittance relatively speaking so everything seems cheap if you are from the West.

It certainly is. I was there on August 18th, 2018 for a day trip from Geneva, and I felt nothing but angst in the truest sense, and I think I was a victim of racial profiling for the first time of my life, which was hilarious, and Kofi Annan passed away on that very same day in this God-forsaken town as well. The Canton of Vaud where I spent three weeks, taking almost daily trips from my base in Geneva to Lausanne and Montreux were much nicer, friendlier, and very good vibes all over. Bern on the other hand was nothing but a disappointment. From the waiter asking me if I checked the prices in the menu, to the train’s ticket inspector who only asked me for my 1st class ticket on the way back to Geneva through Freiburg 😂. Whereas his counterpart on the French aid would ask everyone for the ticket with a gracious smile, would thank you for handing it over, would thank you again as he gives it back to you, he would then proceed with wishing you a good day, followed by a kind goodbye. It was like being in two different dimensions I swear, rather than the same country.
