Not just from watching him lol. I've been learning songs just by watching live videos for years and years; since around the time Justin joined youtube. You can learn a lot of stuff that isnt popular enough to have a tutorial video lol. And more times than not the tutorial/lesson videos aren't 100% correct, where as if you watch the original artist you can see how they do it :) Justin is the man though.

Great video. I only have a few months in me but I didn’t find it as hard as Justin made it seem, of course, playing it at speed (130bpm) is another story. It’s very similar to the concepts of Wonderwall (you have your index finger planted for almost the whole song and a complex but fun strumming pattern). That G chord is def the hardest but Ultimate Guitar has it as a G6 chord instead and I wonder if that’s easier? Any clarification as to the official chord?

I think it's important to distinguish between the two pronunciations of "capo" for the sake of history. While "capo" (pronounced kay•po) refers to the clamp-like device on Justin's guitar, "kapo" (pronounced kah•po) was the designation given to a Nazi concentration camp prisoner forced to supervise the labour of the other prisoners.
