Listening to this version of Wake me up, reading about Avicii's death, relating to the lyrics on a personal level, I feel so gutted. I wish I heard him earlier. I wish he heard this earlier. I wish he'd wake up wiser and older. Sometimes, life's tough even though it seems like you have the world by your side. Here's me, wanting to cry my heart out, but failing miserably to even summon a teardrop into my eyes. I feel this song, I feel every syllable of it, every rhythm, every pause... God bless his soul for giving us this wonderful piece of music.

2 years later, avicii team put this video on his channel. Deserved❤❤

burst into tears when i heard the first note. i was a fan of avicci, can never forget it was a normal morning and i was working on my project with wake me up playing on, then i saw the news saying he passed away. i still miss him. very much. thank you for this absolutely beautiful piece of art.

May his joy with sharing the celebration of our conscious existence also remind us to TAKE GOOD SELF CARE as we are gifted to walk this awesome path, however briefly.

It's the quality of production for me, the sound is mixed so perfectly the sound is like so smooth and in high definition... It's amazing, kudos to them that bring these kids together and put up such amazing art 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

There is something about combining voices that just slows down the heart and makes it beat more intensely at the same time. It is both soothing and exhilarating. And when kids are involved like this, the emotions are just overwhelming.

I absolutely LOVE this choir. All their pieces are simply phenomenal. In this song I love how they focus on the lower registers for the girl soloists and the slightly higher register for the boys. Avicii must be smiling, just as we are.
