Probably from the channel that just got nuked by copyright strike from Baus. It is called Solo Bolo. He was uploading recent games which Baus doesn't allow. I'm pretty sure uploading older games is okay, but maybe not anymore or it never was.

It's a matter of large scale effect (Macro) vs small scale effect (Micro). Doing something that affects the map at large but failing and giving a kill is better than getting a kill but in doing so lossing lane priority, 2 waves worth of minions or a tower. For top lane going for Macro is always better because even if you have the most hyper carry character ever, a team playing correctly will still be able to shut you down no matter how feed you are. Meanwhile if you instead go for Macro plays you improve the entire team's situation and this allows you to have priority and agency, setting the pace and direction the game goes in, which means you always have an avantage if it goes well and if it goes bad then this still gives you the highest amount of chances to make a comeback.

I mean, he was right in this case. He went for a play when it was good for him and bad for Camille, both times it ended up working out poorly just because of soloQ variance, but if you consistently do this, you'll end up climbing in the long run.

I mean it prob would not work I low elo by a worse player since he would be less able to make something happen if he got a gold lead and his team would be more likely to tilt and start playing worse but yea good/bad death is a great concept to understand

@@RandomGamplaysShoty Not even true. Getting a gold/exp lead is valuable in any elo. In fact, you could definitely argue that it's far more valuable in low elo where people are just generally worse at farming, target selection, and not getting caught.
