I mean they’re all true, there are very frustrating gameplay elements but he’s also really good and can still play well. League’s approach is “yeah that’s a really frustrating mechanic, but what if we added health scaling to this item?” Don’t really dix annoying low-skill-expression interactions, just tweaking numbers cause it takes way less development time.

Yeah perhaps it sounded for many people like another ranting by frustrated otp but he was kinda right. How basic ability can contain literal other champs Ultie like Skarner does or Hwei has Rumble’s ult in his basic kit. New champs or reworked champs are way too overloaded compared to outdated stuff like Sion or Rumble for example and they have to be reworked one day. I think there is many more but this is what i think about atm

@@OFIR_Kubson ok calling skarner E the same as sion ult is disingenuous. It has like 1/8th the range, can only hit one target, needs to knock the target INTO TERRAIN for it to not be useless, and doesn't do nearly the same damage. Sion go cover 2/3rds of the map with his R, do damage to turrets, knock up several people and do up to 1.2k damage to all of them.

@@sonluyenvan8652 How can he be a "Tank/bruiser" if he gets kited 24/7? So far every Tank/bruiser has some forum of mobility it's insane so at this point he's right. Sion is outdated. Anyone with half a brain can easily dodge the E/Q combo and even the ult specially considering every champ and their nan has some forum of mobility that doesn't require them to use ult. Sion's only pressure is he stomps towers other than that you can just ignore him in team fights and go straight for backline. The only reason why we see sion somewhat being "good" is because bauss makes him good.

Tell me you are low elo without telling me you are low elo lmao. Viego has negative wr in jng in emerald and above. His e is like a GPS on the map to know where he is, his w "dash" is like 2 Frames faster than walking and his "insane Auto attackspeed" is limited to a 5-3 sec cooldown. He has zero mobility besides his ult and if he doesnt get his passive up, he is super squishy, but yeah he is one of the most broken champs in the game clueless

I agree with the grounded E. 80% of the champs in the game can either dodge the Q with a dash or cancel it with CC

These are what I think should be “buffs” to sion- 1. Hitting e grounds and slows the enemy 2. Sion goes into passive mode much quicker after death 3. The speed of sions ult determines size of hitbox(when slow, you can avoid easier and when fast, it’s easier to slam an enemy.

I've played Sion for 2.5k hours over the years. His ult should for sure have a large AOE if you go across the map with it. Sion is a gigantic monster both in game and in cinematics. Flashing two feet away from his point of impact shouldn't mean shit if they were standing ALL THE WAY DOWN A STRAIGHT LANE AFTER AN AUDIO CUE. The ground on his E is necessary idea as well. Make it ground 3/4 or 1/2 the time it slows. That way, you don't face enemies who are able to flash every single ability you have and make you useless. The balancing team has no idea how stupid it feels playing as this champ. I would eat a 50% nerf to W passive for either of the above changes.

I think flash is cool. It’s the most skilled summ and it bridges the game between low mobility champs and high mobility champs. But there could be more grounding and less slows/cc in the game. That would make everyone happy.

Once he goes in with ult he's not going out and he also can't threaten the backline because his q is so insanely telegraphed Playing sion as a tank is just praying your team can kill the enemy before your hp steroid (w) runs out. There is no agency in playing sion

Even a tank doesn't usually want to dive into the backline, do no damage, and lose half their hp before their self cc even wears off. Missing ult in a team fight is really rough for any Sion build.

yeah thats kinda the problem, all the tanks with or without a way to get to the backlane atleast can apply cc, sion on the other hand cant, the q and r are so easy to doge and using those without any charge dont stun half the time of any tank generic stun, the think is that sion is from a death class of champions "battle tanks" (the youtuber vars explains it on a video) thats the reason why sion sometimes feels more like a juggernaut than a tank, the rest of the battle tanks already got semi-reworked Maoikai and Cho, well cho actually is a "specialist" but more than sure that when riot finally reworks hims he would become a more common tank

God damn making e ground is such a good idea I would really love that. It is so frustrating how many champs in this game can just dash away from your q or ult, it just makes sion not want to charge his q and only use it as an aa reset.

I miss S10 Sion. That was the season before the item rework. When sunfire procked extra dmg on CC and titanic was insane on him. Plus glacial augment slowed them on auto attack, setting up Qs and passive beautifully. Ahhhh the good times! Plus Cinderhulk, Smite Sion Mid! With 15k HP! AMAZING

I actually really like the idea of grounded on Sion's E. It would give Sion a way to actually compete with 200 years champions, while also not needing to rework Sion's entire kit.

I said long time ago that his E should ground after they nerfed his W detonation time, they nerfed his scaling on W from 13% to scalling with level skill, nerfed E damage when you shoot a unti with it, nerfed R scalling. There is too much mobility in the game 1000 dashes and it all started with introduction of Yasuo.

I always said the game went to shit when they added Yasuo. Since then it's been nothing but mobility creep and cringe/edgy champions for teenagers

get second activation of ult. If you do not crash first activation you have 1 second CD and 5 second expiration and you can activate your ult again. This will allow you to get out of ult, auto once/combo once and then use ulty again if you missed/they dodged the first one

Maybe a real balanced change would be for Sion's E to root the enemy target if he's slowed. That way sion would have a reliable CC in case the target flashed the ult
