Great video thanks Chris!we were going to stay there but opted for the outrigger beach resort for the location but thankyou so much for this detailed video,I will be heading straight there for the Christmas shop and the Hawaiian cookie company,and all the other great looking shops!

My favorite hotel in the world. Love their Mai Tais on the Moana Terrace.

i went to the grand hyatt in kauai in 2015 when i was 12.. now im going to this hotel as a 16 year old next month... im so excited ☀️ .

Ive stayed here a few times the first being 1978. The last time I was there was 2007 & I can tell you those rooms have been like this since 2001. Nice hotel. This corner room is smaller than other corner rooms.

Love the hotel. We were there last year.

You’ve made me so homesick.... I grew up in Hawaii and Honolulu is where I’m from! Kuhio beach is my favorite- friends & I would swim out to the rock wall, I loved it!! And ABC Stores, you can find anything there !! 🌺🌴😘

Great detailed video! I LOVE Honolulu Cookie Co cookies. They are spendy but actually worth it! :) The cool thing about all those Honolulu Cookie Company stores is the FREE SAMPLE bar!! When we lived in Waikiki that was one of the things we like to do when strolling down Kalakaua Ave ;) Aloha!

My husband and I always stay Nextdoor at Aston Waikiki Beach and go over to eat at Moana Terrace-their service isn’t the greatest but we like the food. They have good lava flows too 😊 the ABC in the front tower is one of my favorites. I always wondered what the inside of the rooms at Marriott looked like! Maybe we’ll give them a try next trip!

I really like your hotel reviews. Was wondering if you plan on reviewing disney and other theme/amusment park hotels and other hotels like that. Are you doing zoo and other kinds of reviews as well?

This was a great tour. I will be going on 12/2022.

Wow, two balconies from the same room! Those are some nice views! I like how close the hotel is to the beach. Having to walk across a road to get there wouldn't bother me too much. Great video review!

I love how thorough this tour is! Thank you for posting the room floor and number so I can see the view and gauge what the noise level would be. Can you let me know if the thermostat is adjustable to ensure a cool comfortable temp? We've frequently found that some newer Hawaii hotels wont let you turn it down lower than 72 degrees- many ppl like me prefer a cooler temp for sleeping . mahalo nui loa for an excellent review!

Those Honolulu Cookie Company cookies ARE pricy, but the BEST! I bought the biggest box I could and choose the cookies myself, when we were there in early October. My favorite are the passion fruit!

We stayed here a few years ago, what a fantastic hotel. The food at the buffet restaurant was very good. If you arrived before 5:00pm the buffet was $10.00 cheaper. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are going to Waikiki

Yellow Productions we walked through that area and i agree it did need some work! however lagoon tower is beautiful and i would definitely stay here again!

I was supposed to be in Hawaii in the alohilani hotel 8/23/2020 for 7days but COVID-19 messed everything up will be there 2021 Marriot does looks pretty good

Yellow Productions it’s a little pricy at $50 per person but well worth it if you come hungry as we did lol they have delicious desserts too. Not to mention the free breakfast buffet for Marriott Elites.

I'd say go for the Hilton Hawaiian Village then

Most hotels in Hawaii have something you cannot find from any other place of the world , the rooms look like from 1970s while the price looks like from 2070s.

Your videos are too informative I guess because you've totally turned me off Hawaii. It looks overcrowded and way too expensive. I can just picture the busloads of Japanese tourists being funnelled in and out constantly. Everybody from the mainland visits once but they never come back which is telling. The hotels look so old and tired. I'm not a beach person anyway so I've crossed Hawaii off my list.

Hi Earl. Maybe cross Waikiki off your list. You should check out the Andaz Hotel in Maui.. it's new. And not an area with busloads of tourists
