Big fan of the Hawaiian Host "Caramac" candies sold in the ABC stores, I ate a box each day. This hotel/Resort complex was the "Hawaiian Regent" prior to Marriott. It has been completely updated and looks great. I'd love to return. Awesome review.

Well, not sure if it is a direct comparison, but based on this stay in Hawaii vs the Grand Hyatt in Orlando, I'd say this Marriott had a harder bed. Your experience, of course, may vary...
Hi there My family are planning to come to the Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa in June of this year. Can you tell me about the $50 mandatory hotel-imposed fee? What is it for and is it refundable? Thank in advance

I don't believe it is refundable. From my recollection, the fee is to cover the beach chairs, hotel wifi, various hotel activities like painting lessons, hula lessons and stuff like that.
That wasn’t a fire dancer it was a solo male cheerleader with flaming batons, and public liability insurance.
