this is a lot harder than it looks since the birds have a horrible tendency to stay silent most of the time but it's technically consistent if you're patient and play it safe, I'd say it requires a decent amount of practice though since you have to guess where the birds are based on sound cues, judge whether it's safe to dismount based on the amount of birds you've killed recently, while at the same time micromanaging gestalts, moongleams (since they passively follow you), which tool to give wagstaff, paying attention when tools spawn, making sure the beefalo doesn't buck you off at a bad time, and all without being able to see more than 2 tiles away lmao a few tips I can give: -if you feed your (untamed) beef 10 twigs at the start it will let you ride it for about the next 4 minutes which is enough to finish the minigame in most cases (maybe feed it once more again later) -charged moonglass explosions and moongleams will kill a few of the birds for you making it a bit easier -you have to pay a lot of attention to the spitter birds since they can be very far away from wagstaff and still damage the experiment -when in doubt just run in circles to find the birds, it's safe and lets you distance yourself from moongleams and gestalts -it's easier to see items in your backpack than in your main inventory with the moonstorm overlay so try filling it up first so the tools all go to your backpack if you can pull it off though this can be a very effective way to skip the astroggles without having to get minions to do it for you
