Thank you so much for these pics, takes me back to when I was a teen ager and worked in a truck stop on hwy 30, Wanatah IN, called Tic Toc. Especially enjoy seeing all the Dodge cabover pics. A conventional tractor in those days was rare, and I knew the sound of each trucker's Jake as he hit it for the the RR tracks that were there at the time. So few had jakes, new them all by name. And the sound of an air starter is something you'll never forget.

They are cool to look at and I love the nostalgia too but they rode hard and conventional are so much easier to get in to the sleeper ever since the walkin feature. Plus the lifting of length laws signed the death of them. Still big in Europe though.

Tom Paul 🇺🇸 Yeah, they rode hard, but air ride cabs and rears helped, and having a trailer connected made it even better. Single axles rode better than tandem axles. Bottom line, cabovers are just simply COOL, rare, and give you a vision like NO other! I love spotting them out on the...a rare sight nowadays. I can accept that people either love them or hate them, but they can all share many memories of the old cabovers. My LOVE for cabovers and older trucks started as a kid...and has continued to now. Have fun, enjoy the ride and stay safe.🤩

NO! it's a front driving axle with power to the rear axles making it a 6 wheel drive semi tractor. I must admit, haven't seen those, a rare unicorn indeed
