Wagner - Tannhäuser Ouverture [ANALYSIS]

The epic orchestration and imagination of Richard Wagner in an analysis of the overture to his Tannhäuser: the opera was written in 1845, had a very different version for the Paris debut in 1861, and was revised again for Vienna in 1875.
The Tannhäuser Ouverture bears Wagner's signature in the use of the leitmotiv: those themes or musical motives that along the opera are associated with a certain character or emotion.

You have a lot of great things to say, but it's hard to hear that within the music, because the musical sections are so short.

Thank you. The musical sections are short to abide to YT copyright restrictions. Too long segments on public videos bring copyright infringements and the risk of YT closing the channel, not to mention they won't be eligible to be monetized at some point. The long versions of these episode do not "suffer" from any of this.

I don't find it hard to hear at all. If I want to hear the full version I can just open a separate YT page and look for it. Or go for premium.

I thought Premium is mostly for consumers to have no ads or other benefits.. The creators have benefits too with Premium, like search benefits, to be seen for people? I use Chrome AdBlock because some videos have ads every 3 minutes.

@@alaalfa8839 it depends, YT changes the rules quite often. At this moment, no monetization is present on the channel, so whichever ads you are seeing, if any, are not coming from me, neither I get any benefit. The premium version, in this case, includes longer segments and more information. But YT makes it very clear that they can insert ads to up their revenue whenever they want to

@@ggriglio Ok. Thanks. Yes, no ads on your channel but on various channels. I saw some info that Premium is without ads..but I was wondering what other benefits it gives. Actually now in some videos, they say In Premium youtube asks some probably popular KZreadrs to do some promo video too. That customers maybe listen to more music, playlists. Modern music doesn't inspire me much now and the fact that everything is too much edited even the videoclips.. though before I used to watch it.
